  1. I want to have online/offline green/white button tags like you see next to a person... I want to have it in my threads, so how would I do that?
  2. I've done the Freedom 7 flights many times! It's one of the simplest crafts to design and run. Granted, Science is limited heavily since you can't replicate such things as some that were required of later astronauts in the program. However, when you try to do this flight with the RSS mod installed, using my craft WON'T work. The planet is too big and the atmosphere is too thick at normal level, but with stock non-FAR ksp (no deadly reentry, however if you added heat shields my craft would do fine) my craft works perfectly fine.
  3. Ok... Here's a Q.... How do you 'fuse' parts together? 'member, that's what I'm asking... I can find a way to fuse the chair part easy.... Maybe not... But so I hope, RCS, easy. Placing ports through the c.o.m will be harder..... HELP (I'm too new!!)
  4. He about this, set the default pack to 0. Then make a part using the rover max body, but add some dots in the model for 'RCS ports'. Then have it set like the external chair, where it has to be equipped. Set the thrust through their c.o.m then the whole things done. Right?
  5. Can you alter the face of a kerbal? If yes, then I need to so badly for this.
  6. I assume that's a problem going around ... I've seen mods (granted the modded were experienced) where they changed the apparel... So I know altering their models IS possible... I'm just wanting to make a brand new part... Make all the script myself, and have the 'model' file, be a kerbal. That's it (for now)... If I can do that, I'm a happy camper. I'll move onto bigger plans with this later, but that's the first part. Later on I would like to have it be loss, meaning if it hits something, it has 'fluid dynamics'. I'd also like it to have the helmet with rather than a kerb head, a machine looking thing... True to the real thing. And so on.... Maybe give it MORE purpose on ksp... But that's all for now. I'm just dreaming, I may never even get the main goal of this complete... We'll see. Also, dont be hatin', be helping! That's what I need bro! - - - Updated - - - What I'm doing shouldn't take FAR level coding, I've seen and altered the basic stuff... So I know what to expect.
  7. So is there a version available (and downloadable easily) for .23.5? I've heard rumor that .23 broke compatibility and had problems.... Is this true?
  8. How's the removable EMU coming? That's a part request... Little hard since you have to remove the EMU from the regular Kerbs! So, any progress?

  11. Hell yeah! Gernades in the couplers and in the ports! Love it! Why not add a slicing part too? For more 'gentle' removals? Say on probes? Also, have it were you can remove and RE-PLACE parts? That would be nice too! Love this!!

  13. Hence why I want a bolting point for the troids. I want to have a plate, that can be attached to, KAS style. You might also want to look into the part fusing or whatever that mod is called. Then, after attaching to the plate, you not going to move under ANY circumstances.... But gravity is still null, but at least your attached to the troid and you won't lose it.
  14. Maybe add in drills that can latch PERMANENTLY onto troids, so you can have bases easy. I want my ground scatter to break stuff!! I want! I know why we can't, I'm just being.......... Me... On a bad day .
  15. Hmm ok. Here's another question... How do you make custom models? It looks easy (from another persons POV). So... What would I use then? (I will pick the software up btw).
  16. Yeah, like your grapple gun idea. Just something to work... By 'permissions' is that it's a logic style unlock. You have to unlock the 'permission' from the RnD, then when it is researched, it writes in a .persistance file or something; that 'use EVA packs [enter] true'. Otherwise, it is 'false' and therefore not loaded and pre-equipped stock style.... Or you go all the way like I asked and try to have it attached to the side of the craft like a external command chair and use it like that... Any more questions?
  17. I have a recommendation. At the moment your just mining... If you want to make it more realistic to Apollo missions, then I have ideas... For one, we can only walk, take surface samples, and (now) mine for materials! Apollo 12 landed near a surveyor probe and took the camera from it to see the long term effects on machines. We need something like that! Just add a KAS type thing, we're Kerbs can carry stuff, but they can carry small 'cameras' or 'materials' etc back to Kerbin! That's more realistic than LANDING and THEN taking readings from a pot of unknown origin! Etc etc. Also, next idea... This is gonna be a lot of work, but integrate this idea with the career system and have it where (this mod may already exist) when you EVA from a spacecraft prior to unlocking the 'permission' to use it, you EVA out of the spacecraft, without a pack AND on an umbical similar to Gemini 4. Maybe add a maneuvering gun too, that's what Ed had during the mission. Maybe you could set the 'permission' up so that you have to EQUIP (again KAS here... Slightly) the EMU (that's what HUMANS use). Because during Gemini they had a EMU up with them, but by the time they got to it, they were too tired from flailing around TO GET THERE, so NASA scrubbed it. So have it where, you can place a EMU radial in the VAB, then you EVA, and crawl on ladders or something to get to it. Then you right click and click 'equip' and BAM, back to the original KSP EVA style! This idea will help (some) as the game doesn't calculate for the weight of a EMU. They're pretty heavy and it would help to have them be accounted for on the launch vehicle. I've gotten off point, but these ARE suggestions. I also may have asked for you to add what another mod does, but as of this moment, I am unaware of any such mods. So please inform me if such a mod for anything I have mentioned exists... Edit: Is that the SCP logo on his backpack? That little circle with arrows going in?
  18. Ah. And how would I do that? Please don't say it's a dead end, I'll do whatever it takes, I'm that kind of person. What software would I need?
