  1. I'm sure you could edit the config to remove the cameras but then you'd obviously have no cameras. And no, if RPM's installed, you're going to get those GUI buttons.

  3. That is your question and I'm afraid I don't understand it. You can have as many parts attached to a hinge/rotatron as you can fit on there, providing they're surface attached, not node attached.
  4. Aww sweet baby jee, this is amazing.. Just an FYI, I think the folder structure in the download is a bit screwy - it's Gamedata/Parts etc, not Gamedata/SpaceplanePlus/Parts etc. Doubly complicated by the fact the there's Gamedata/Firespitter/Plugins as well.. not a problem if you're careful, but I know some people do blithely copy across Gamedata folders without looking first.

  6. And if I add a mod that adds a Toolbar icon? Yep, there's that Donate button again. Hmm, that new icon has made the Toolbar look weird.. I'll just change the size and position and boom, Donate. Again. Ok, now that's in the right place and is the right size, I'll just lock it there and oh look, Donate again. Ok, now that's done, let's just launch this vessel which means when the launch scene initiates, that Toolbar icon won't be there which means hooray, more settings tweaking and I get to see Donate again, how wonderful. Every single time I want to make one small change to a setting, it's there staring me in the face. Even if I replace the icon, I know what it's replacing and there's a conspicuous black box at the bottom of the settings menu. Wow, assumptions much? I just don't like seeing 'Donate' buttons in a game I'm playing. Whether it's KSP, some free mobile game or a complete release of some game, seeing them is one of my pet hates. If I could get rid of them altogether, I'd be fine, hence my original question.
  7. As I thought I made clear, I have no problem donating to Blizzy. I would in heartbeat, that's for sure because I agree with you - it's a pretty much essential mod. However, I don't want to see a Donate button once I already have donated. It's like a friend saying "hey, can I borrow 10 bucks?".. "sure man, here you go" "hey, can I borrow 10 bucks?".. "what happened to the last $10 I gave you...? Whatever, here you go dude". "hey, can I borrow 10 bucks?".. "are you serious? Where is this all going?" "hey, can I borrow 10 bucks?".. "you've had $30 now, why are you still asking me for more?" "hey, can I borrow 10 bucks?".. Dude, I gave you money when you asked me to. If I wanted to give you more, I would go out of my way to do that. There's no need to constantly ask me.

  10. If I donate, will you provide me with a way to remove the Donate button and everything related to it entirely? Not just replacing its texture or icon, but remove from the game entirely and forever, any mention of me donating to you? I'm sick of seeing it but I'm also sick of having to replace the icon with a black box. It's annoying me.
  11. Yup, that's pretty much what I have as well, except mine can redock and is foldable So, I have a module delivery crane that doubles up as a normal crane when grounded, a one-shot delivery system, a rover (they all may or may not be inspired by your designs).. all I need now is KONQUEST

I might have to steal that idea In other news, I discovered (and then read here) that any changes made to one part in a group of symmetry will make the change to all parts in that group. Pretty annoying, as I would have to make the changes required every time I put the craft to launch and there's no way around it. However, then I remembered I have StripSymmetry installed! Two buttons and a click later and I have each thing being independent! Now let's just hope I don't have/want to make any more changes to the legs unless I fancy doing it 4 times by eye...
  13. Invert Axis off sent them in opposite directions, like both were on, except the direction was reversed. Anywho, I got it working now, had to set the left min to -180 and max to 0 and the right min to 0 and max to 180. Seems I tired every combination of 180 and +/- there was except that one, heh... Thanks for the pointer about the [] button, sometimes, it's a wonder I can even function on a day to day basis. Did you try the craft? The annoying thing about SPH symmetry is that it's really quite difficult to get two things symmetrical without using it. I did manage it with a lot of help from Editor Extensions though, I don't know how I'd cope without it. Overall then, mission successful, thanks for the help. I'll leave you be for a while now EDIT: Yeah, noticed that too in getting the chassis subassembly on to a stock pod. Forgot to tell you
  14. Haha, brilliant... sneaky icon was hiding from me! Glad it was an easy fix after all this. Slightly related: is there a way to move the button? I don't mind it not saving position but until you can get Toolbar support working, I'd like to at least move it to be near it.. or am I going to need to change the config for that?
  15. Output_log.txt is here What's strange is that there's no errors and by all accounts, the plugin is loaded. And yet, I see no icon. Stock craft, clean install with only Planitron and Toolbar installed.
  16. New post, new bug The light that was attached in symmetry to the truss doesn't seem to take into account the reversed axis of rotation. Craft file here, just need the rework models, all else is stock

  18. Hey sirkut, what the chances of making the servo GUI resizable? Part clipping aside, I want the wheels to rotate in opposite directions (the right hand one rotating clockwise, the left hand one anti-clockwise)and only by 180 degrees ('stowed' and 'deployed', as it were), but the left hand one is misbehaving, no matter what settings I use. Also, it's impossible to get 0 or 180 degrees in the step increment. The closest I can get is 1.8 degrees either side.
  19. Let me just say I have no problem with stock atmospheric density, it's the fact that boxplanes are possible.

  21. Excellent. Now all I need is an in-game measuring stick to find out how wide and long my rover designs are. Jebs Big Stick, here I come!
