  1. Love the bar. I will be sure to add one on my asteroid base.
  2. I wonder if the beefed up ion engine can get a infiniglider to orbit. Guess it wouldn't be a glider anymore... Probably not I'm guessing. Anyone going to try it?
  3. I meant I don't think fuel will transfer through an asteroid. Its confirmed the claw will act as a docking port. Not all ship parts transfer fuel either I don't think, though most do. This is a silly discussion
  4. I was wondering this myself. Makes a big difference when assembling a large interplanetary ship. Ive had ships so large and wobbly they blow apart under even x2 time acceleration.
  5. I've been waiting for colored lights. I'm glad they took an hour to put them in.
  6. Yeah it was entertaining watching them geek out. Wish I was better at math.
  7. I can't wait to use the new parts. IMO they're not at all overpowered. I like that ions are now useful. Besides much more powerful ion engines are being worked on as we speak IRL. I was thinking earlier today at work that with some clever engineering with the claw and its pivoting ability that you could build an ion ship and pivot the solar panels on the fly to best capture the sunlight.
  8. I love asparagus staging so I'm going to continue using it for the interplanetary missions. For the Mun and Minmus it won't be necessary.
  9. Well if the grapple is attached in the back of your ship, like in the middle, then you should be able to tug it around no problem. The mass of the asteroid is evenly distributed despite its shape because its all one part. It won't matter where your grapple attaches to it.
  10. I like it the way it is. I would like some basic reentry danger and some basic life support systems, but otherwise its great.
  11. Sometimes I hear the VAB music when I'm doing reports at work...
  12. Baby keeps me from playing. Silly baby. Wanted his middle name to be Kerman. Wife stopped me.
  13. Wow I never bothered looking at the cost of things before. It makes no cents at all!
  14. I don't think I have a specialty. I do like large rivers with ships on top so the crew can launch back to orbit. Found several Easter eggs with those.
  15. I almost never build stations or satellites. There doesnt seem to be any point to them.
  16. My first SSTO to Laythe and back. What an adventure. Last night was good to. I found the dead Kracken on Bop with a special search lander. Had no idea where it was so I made a small, but very efficient lander to search the whole moon.
  17. Wow. Well done. Maybe shouldve built the bases first but I guess they're okay for a few years. You could write a message with flags. Rescue us!
  18. I too have been everywhere but Eve. I'm waiting for the next update to make my attempt. The larger fuel tanks and stronger connections will be a boon to the mission
  19. Yeah I've done it to for stranded Kerbals. It was such pain I make sure they have enough fuel or I refuel them before they leave. Last time they ran out Jeb got out and pushed. Luckily it was a small ship and he was able to get them home.
  20. I land my space planes at KSC but everything else I usually don't care where they land. In early career I try to aim for biomes I haven't hit yet to squeeze the science.
  21. No I wouldn't choose to forget all 1500 hours played. I am always looking forward to new patches and updates to give me stuff to do though. My asteroid base is going to be awesome...
  22. I bet u could unlock the whole tech tree with probes in 15 minute sessions. Overbuild the engines to keep burn time to a minimum. Mainsails only kind of thing. With an asparagus launcher saved as a subassembly u could get a probe to most places in 15 minutes and transmit the yummy science back.
