  1. Fyre you were told not to spam already From the KSPTV chat 9:52 Kaspervld: it's not here yet, but it'll be here today! 9:52 Kaspervld: !editcom when today! 9:52 Kaspervld: it's RowsdowerKSP official! (9:55 in my timezone now)
  2. Guys we don't need to shamelessly spam. Let's sing a song! Tune: CHUG-AH-Choo, Choo, Choo, It's the HypeTrain KSP! Chug-ah-Choo, Choo, Choo, It's the HypeTrain point ninety. On the tracks, straight ahead, Experimentals now you see, Chug-ah-Choo, Choo, Choo, It's a rocket melody!
  3. The "previous" branch has been messed with. Upgrading it to .25 ready for the main release to be made .90. It feels sooooo close.

Dingdingding! Well, I call them traffic lights. They shine night and day, and don't drive through when one's red or you might have a crash.
  8. Realistic flight mechanics in a space game crushes player freedom.
  9. The big thing to consider is does delta-V to orbit even matter much for the challenge? If it's something like "Make a craft that can go to orbit and back three times no refuelling" then it does. If it's something like "Jump the Dres canyon in a car or motorbike" then it really doesn't.
  10. One that's wider than it is tall, often considerably so. This is likely to arise if you take asparagus staging to the extreme.
  11. The rules will simply be sensible, based on how your ship looks and has its parts placed. None of the old "Oh no you musn't touch the debug menu ever but let's ignore all the clipping you can do without it" nonsense.
  12. I think Mr Anthony is wide of the mark in saying that realistic physics would crush the player's freedom. It's true that not all games should be "about" the physics as KSP is, but there are cleverer ways of tackling it than just making up the behaviour out of whole cloth. But, his game. I'd have to see how it plays.
  13. Possible, yes. I did one goofing around. It flew for ages, I think it was half infiniglider though. Biggest problem is that the wings are going to mess up normal driving. If you lift off at top speed, well you lift off at top speed. At the very least you'll be losing grip. Visiting Kerbin biomes with a rover will be slow anyway. A plane or a rocket is better. Of course if you just want to drive you can do so.
  14. Check that neither the kethane nor the fuel tank is locked. (Right click on them and green arrows mean unlocked, red circles mean locked.)
  15. I believe cuboct struts will still be needed to provide attachment points. Except maybe for people using Editor Extensions.
  16. Closer up, I'm more often struck by how familiar Mars looks. These are channels, sedimentary rocks, sand dunes, that all wouldn't look out of place on Earth. If Mars was once a truly wet world, then its current desertification is one of the great tragedies of the cosmos.
