  1. If I can get it working consistently I'll post a tutorial video on it.
  2. I've just downloaded the Deadly Re-entry Mod... so de-orbit eveything from 0.20 and then load up 0.21.
  3. Thanks! Hopefully they will not. Was messing with mechjeb and it's the only appropriate title I could think of. Will add the launching and landing of multiple simultaneous craft in one video at some point.
  4. I know, I said the forbidden word... but it's visualized in a short video. Thanks.
  5. My chair (left hand)... I throw it out of the side of the ship, when given advanced warning an incoming rock, and change my trajectory! My mouse (right hand)... I spin the cable around the antenna of the ship and avoid floating off into space on my EVA. Honestly, I could solve any problem... [crash]
  6. Lathe has some views. Looking over a sand dune, across the sea and into the depths of the Green Jool is amazing. Especially if a few other moons dot the sky too...
  7. Wow, glad it's not just me. One thing to remember, is that a delayed sound of your own voice is actually confusing. As you think you said something already, so don't say the next thing (like an echo). For my tutorial videos I do lots of practice. That's not quite possible for live gameplay. I'm going to test doing a voice over after the recording, to see if that helps (and know Scott does that too sometimes ). Thanks for the advice Brabbit!
  8. Steam Gifts and Steam Trade websites already exist. Perhaps that's a better place to go to start?
  9. Well, I already have a copy... and I'm tempted to buy 3 more. Yes, 3! more. But the store just crashed. High demand?
  10. You can sometimes use jr docking nodes paired up instead of struts. Both options are available.
  11. Great stuff. I love the concepts and use you came up with for the missions.
  12. Had some old footage of a probe ship flying around Jool dropping off probes I thought I'd upload. Hope you like it. Feedback welcome, and I'll work on getting better quality for next time. Thanks.
  13. We have a few neighboring stars around 5 or so light years away. So I'd guess they can give us a gentle push now and again.
  14. Hmmmm... I guess I'm going to have to do a "good bye" in "style [explosions]" for the old saves I have.
  15. Not as far as I know. But to help, why do you need or wish to swap? A craft in the atmosphere is either flying (airplane) or falling/rocketing (rocket on launch/landing). Neither of those bodes well if you DO swap, as you will crash! Some mods may let you change some things like this. But if we know why you want to, we can look to see what else can be done.
  16. Really do. Hope Nova is not too sad from knowing the polys were overkill. Low poly modelling is a real skill that takes time to learn. Plus PCs/optimizations .
  17. Thanks. The docking ports mean you can use it as a tug, or take more fuel/sections with you too. Just not in a single launch as above. The next version will have 4 engines and hopefully no additional part count. Will upload the craft file if anyone is interested.
  18. After the Successes of Titan and Colossus the Kerbals put everything they had into another design. Code named "Zenith" it was to rise above ever other attempt that preceded it. Again sticking to the plan of very few parts, re-usability and in transit re-configuration. With only 80 parts and no orbital construction required, the Zenith launched an entire interplanetary craft in style. With less than 45 parts it transits to Duna. With some "persistence" is lands and deploys it's rover. Return is easy, safe and with plenty of spare fuel... they said. But not to worry, Omega is undergoing tests as we speak!
  19. I guess the COG (Center of gravity) shift from refueling is enough to cause wobble. Unintended bug that simulates "slosh" in the tanks?
  20. Fuel? That design has given me an idea. Might try for the largest fuel tug I can muster. As to cargo. Hmmmm. A self contained lander? Something the size and shape of the hitch hiker pods. But flyable. An atmospheric craft is always sweet too.
  21. Great to hear from a different perspective. Thanks.
  22. Working with the limits can help. I'm aiming at getting individual craft down to 50 parts. Then even docking etc should not over do 200.
  23. Relevant: Scott Manley may also have done a video on this, and is a bit more confident on film than I am. :#
  24. Nice. Love the swap for landing legs for bars.
