  1. Sure Atlas in VAB, shiny and nice On Launch Pad blue and glowing Launched main tank not blue anymore Still blue after first stage All good in space This time it didn't stay blue in space but most of the time it glows
  2. This is a problem that I think that is probably just mine. I always have to remove the texture plugin because it makes the rockets look weird. In the VAB they look all shiny and pretty, on the launch pad and through the flight, the what I assume is supposed to be shiny and reflective becomes luminescent. It looks like a glowstick. In space it looks blue and its luminescent. The rockets look great even with out the reflective plugin but am I doing something wrong? Is it my computer? I have tried all of the texture resolution settings, and FASA runs fantastic even at the highest resolution settings. However no matter what I do the shiny parts are glowing blue.

  4. Excellent news for the CM I can't wait! The CM on his Saturn V is really nice so an overhaul for FASA will be unbelievable. You gonna do the antenna to for the SM? The fuel thing is definitely me wasting too much fuel on rendezvous. Just curious I was kinda hoping it was that there isn't enough fuel lol.
  5. Beautiful, this might just be my problem on fuel management but does it seem like the SM doesn't have enough fuel or the the engine is inefficient? I easily run out of fuel it just seem there isn't enough fuel for an orbital burn, rendevous, and Mun Kerbin Injection. Maybe its just me. Other than that great great work. I know you dont do replicas but you gotta do a CM at the least do a proper LES. Keep up the excellent work, I think i speak for everyone when I say we appreciate it.

  7. First time I have had a chance to play with the Beta. First you need to mention there are no parachutes. I went to the Mun and back and didn't realize there weren't any chutes!. All joking aside its beautiful even without the texturing. Its very well done and I can't wait for the big three to be complete. I feel I must mention that it was a little wobbly during the gravity turn but nothing that was too violent, however it was definitely noticeable. That being said hurry up with the textures
  8. So I first must say I love this MOD so much. I have been downloading versions of this MOD since it was first released. I really have so much fun with it. That being said it seems like it is always "almost" perfect. There is always a little thing or a few little things wrong that just make it unreliable. So after downloading this version I have noticed a few things. First the KSO mechjeb doesn't work. No matter how I attempt to install it, it just doesn't work, the part doesn't show up. Second after I decouple a piece from the cargo bay the Kerbalnauts inside the piece don't show up in the bottom right corner even after I return to the Space Center and go back. I can still IVA and click on the hatch to EVA so its not a problem but it does seem like a glitch or bug worth mentioning. This isn't exactly a problem but it seems like the light on the tug are overpowered? I haven't seen anyone else comment but I turned on the tug lights in the cargo bay and it lit up entire continents while flying over in orbit. So unless the intention is to create a new sun I doubt thats what you were trying to do. I took a screencap but for some reason I cant upload it. But it was pretty funny having an entire part of kerbin lit up but two lightbulbs. Keep up the great work.

  11. Maybe you could do an oxidized copper or brass look? You know like hues of green to make it go with the the steampunk and kerbal theme of the parts just being found. To the science point i mean retexturing the current stuff like you did with mechjeb should be fine, if it saves you time and heartache. I mean The mystery goo container seems ripe for a retexture into something whimsical and steampunky. Maybe use the textures you used to make the acid battery and just take one of those cylinders out with the green stuff and make that the mystery goo. Also to that point you could easily convert the acid battery by changing some of the textures and colors and maki ti into a new materials bay (sc-9001 jr.). Like purple yellow red, blue, and when the study is done they turn black.
  12. Maybe some copper external fuel lines to transfer water, whale oil, and oxidizer into the boilers and such? Or even just copper external fuel lines so we can do steampunk asparagus staging. Also I am sure bigger capsules and water tanks will be coming in the future? Last comment and it is purely for people who dont like to play around. Me I like love playing around figuring out how to make the various tanks, engines, and goodies to work some people really might get frustrated not knowing how to get rockets off the ground immediately. So better definitions of how to put the parts together in the descriptions or craft files so people can see how things work. That all being said once again this is truly a fabulous and refreshing mod. Its also beautifully made and well thought out. The biggest of high fives to you.

  14. No offense to Bobcat but it seems that consensus is that he has a reputation for taking an extremely long time to finish things and often leaves things unfinished and never gets back to them. Often teasing us and never following through. This is not a complaint simply an observation. I also understand that he does not work for us and that he does all of this out of the kindness of his heart. But with his reputation being what it is, do you expect a new version of HOME to be coming out any time soon? Based on the forums that seems unlikely. So back to my original question, if the fix to the current version of home is so easy to fix why doesn't he just fix it, repost it, and let people who want to use it, use it until the new version is ready for release? Please don't misconstrue what I am saying as ungrateful or demanding. The Soviet Pack and American Pack are triumphs and I understand the talent and care that go into all of Bobcats mods, it is a testament to how good the mods are that so many people are looking for an update for HOME. Not to belabor the point but if the fix is so easy why not just fix and repost. The only downside is, more people will be able to appreciate his work. I mean it is still a top download on the first page with that type of realestate in the add-on store you would think that having a functioning and updated mod would be desirable. Anyway sorry for the rant, probably going off topic, being greedy, being lazy, and being ignorant. I gotta cover all my bases on these forums. Seriously though great work on Soviet and American Bobcat, I just wish I had the knowledge and the time to appreciate HOME.
  15. Pardon my ignorance but if its such a simple fix then why doesn't bobcat make the fix and then re-relaese the mod. I would really love to use the HOME mod I have alot of reticence messing with the cod and any attempts I have made to fix home to make it work have failed. So I fully admit that my ignorance is the reason I can't get it to work but everyone keeps saying it is such an easy fix. It probably is but with my schedule and the limited time I have to play this game, if I want to fool around with mods they need to be easy to use and work when I want them to. So as much as I want the HOME mod I live without it because I just don't have the time to mess around with the coding no matter how easy it is fix.
  16. If you want a nice Saturn V model by all means download Lovads incomplete Saturn V. Its a really good scale and pretty well detailed. Do earth orbit rendezvous with Friz's LEM and let that be the end. He has been showing us his progress. He has not responded because none of us know exactly what he is doing. Finally have you seen the **** this guy is doing? Mercury through Gemini and all the stuff in between! I dont care about the scale being completely accurate and neither should you. Remember Kerbin isnt earth so he doesn't need to make the rocket the same size as the Saturn V. You could probably get to Jool and back with a full scale Saturn V. He is making accurate to the scale of the Kerbol system and from Kerbin to the Mun. All I care about is that is doesn't look like stock parts, closely resembles the saturn v and gets me to the mun and back. And that I can use the parts to make wicked rockets of my own. Also just be a little more diplomatic. This guy doesnt have share any of this especially for free. So let him do what he does best and give him time. I mean look at what he has done already. There are very few other modders on here that are doing what this guy is doing and at the pace.

  22. Everytime I get to the mun or even on kerbin when i let ig go off the Jebs back it explodes, I figured out all of that.
  23. How do you use the ALSEP box properly? I downloaded KAS AND VNG installed them and work fine as MODS but how does the ALSEP box work and the rover box?
  24. Have you thought about making fall away umbilical for the redstone. It would make it really accurate and cool. Also how hard would it be to make a die pack for the water. I know that when the capsules landed they would release a green die into the water? Is that even possible to do?
