Let there be instrument lights! Thanks to @MOARdV and @G'th, the instruments are up and running. MAS = awesome. If MAS gets a HUD, even more so. While I do like the MFDs, they are temporary until I can make the SpaceX-styled touchscreens for a more Star Trek-ish look. My goal is to have onscreen buttons for things like action groups. @MOARdV put a lot of work into MAS, and the lua scripting really opens up a lot of doors. So, once I add a few more props and beat my head on the desk trying to get the side-view cameras to work (I have to RTFM for that), the cockpit will be done. You'll need ASET Props, ASET Avionics, RPM, and MAS to make it all work. Once the cockpit is done, I have a couple of parts to make and some bugs to stomp, but I'm back on track for an alpha release by end of next week.

Ok, I fixed the RPM errors thanks to @G'th: Unfortunately the MAS_ASET_MFD2 monitors are still dead. Full logs here. I'm sure I'm missing something, I'm just not sure what.

How do you get pages to display in the MFD? I am using the MAS_ASET_MFD2, but it doesn't appear to show anything. Here's a copy of my logs: And the config I'm using for my cockpit: Clearly I'm missing something but I'm not sure what. I'm using MAS 0.14.0. Any ideas? Thanks!

Oh, that's a useful tool, thanks for pointing that out. As for the MFD, yes, I'm looking for system alarms. The resource display sounds exactly like what I need. Also, which of the MFDs is the touchscreen? I'm also getting this error: [ERR 13:00:55.000] [MASFlightComputer] MASFlightComputer.FixedUpdate exception: System.ArgumentException: Unexpected variable type Unknown for variable (fc.Remap)((fc.HottestEngineTemperature)(false), 0, (fc.HottestEngineTemperatureMax)(false), (-1), 252) in mutableVariablesList at AvionicsSystems.MASFlightComputer.FixedUpdate () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 when using MAS_ALCOR_MFD1. Perhaps that'll go away if I'm using the correct mfd..? Last question: Does MAS have a Heads Up Display like RPM? Thanks again for your help!

I attempted to land the Mk1 Munbus on the Mun: It turns out that the craft is pretty uncontrollable during descent and it suffered a catastrophic crash. This is all that's left: Luckily, the crew survived the crash. A rescue mission isn't needed as they landed with half a kilometer of Munbase Enterprise. But they'll definitely need a change of flight suit, and for an improved Munbus...

@MOARdV Thank you for creating MAS! I can see that it has great potential and has better flexibility than RPM. I'm looking forward to making my SpaceX style touchscreen too. I've started working on the cockpit for my flying saucer: It isn't much but it's a start. Those buttons are MAS_SAS_xxxx types, are there ways to change the look? I'm not familiar with the new ASET buttons, I'm guessing that I have to make new buttons with different design patterns if I'm understanding the documentation correctly... I mentioned earlier that I'm going for something like this: I've no problems making a touchscreen prop. That reminds me, what kinds of resource displays does the MAS MFD have? Can it show alarms as well? Instead of individual alarms like you have in ASET, I'd love to make an MFD screen that shows them. Is that possible?

I finished my flying saucer's crew cabin IVA: I also began building the Duna One expedition. The main ship is fully assembled and is currently being fueled: Once the tanker delivers its load of propellant, it heads over to Skybase to dock and serve as storage for future construction. The Mk1 Munbus finally made it to the station, where Loner, Dorod, and Wenbles had been waiting. After refueling the Munbus, Team Loner departed the station, leaving it unoccupied. They're currently on course for the Mun.

I finished the tray tables in the saucer's crew cabin: I don't like the current design for the lavatory so that'll change a bit. I also redesigned the Munbus to make it much more modular: The prototype didn't really need 3 engines, so I dropped two of them, made the fuel pods modular, and made the central tank replaceable. I can fit extra crew cabins, a cargo bay, or a mobile processing lab in place of the central tank. I also need to make a rounded variant of the hex port...
