Ok try sticking the Ponderosa on top of the KIS concrete sbase and see if the problem continues. Thanks for the feedback. -

Any new feedback? I should have Pathfinder up on GitHub in a few days. -
DevNotes: "something rather brilliant from RoverDude"
Angelo Kerman replied to AbacusWizard's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I would say heat radiators as that is on oft requested feature and several of us have rolled our own solutions in the interim. If that's the case and they work like my DSEV radiators then I'm a happy camper. -

Buckboad does not inflate. It is a container like the standard KIS container. Instead of an inventory it holds resources. The inflatable storage unit is the Chuckwagon. It goes on one of the disk-shaped ports on the Ponderosa. Edit: Now that I think about it, the Buckboard needs a different look to distinguish it from the standard containers. Your comment is good feedback, thanks. Just out of curiosity, if you attach the KIS concrete slab to the ground do you get the same warning? -

New release is up! I fixed a few bugs related to KIS, reworked the Saddle, and added a ladder to the Ponderosa. I also investigated the base jumping issue and found that you need to attach the Saddle to the ground to prevent jumping from happening. If you can still push the Saddle around on the ground, then it is not properly attached to the ground. NOTE: The Saddle might explode when attaching to the ground. I haven't figured out why this happens, but I did try a whole bunch of shapes to find one that mostly works. Regarding the Buckboard: Remember that it holds resources, and those resources take up mass. For instance, the LFO configuration masses 5100kg. Kerbals can carry a metric ton at most. I've verified that a kerbal can carry an empty Buckboard. -

Thanks for the question. Yes, Pathfinder works best with KIS/KAS. -

Ok, I will give that a try. I didn't try stacking Ponderosas. I'll give that a try tonight. When you say to watch the first step if there is a kerbal inside, what do you mean by that? also, when you installed the latest, did you delete the older install? Just trying to get a feel for how you installed and used the mod. Thanks for your feedback. -

Ok so I need more information about what's going on. What steps did you take to get to that screenshot? One thing I specifically tested is installing a Ponderosa on the saddle, put a kerbal inside, and exited the game and reloaded. When I came back, the Ponderosa was inflated and the kerbal was still there. -

Thanks! I'm trying to keep things so that each release is usable as is, but each new release adds to the functionality. The Geology Lab for instance isn't done yet, but it still gives you benefits. I am especially pleased with how the new and improved Ponderosa and Chuckwagon turned out. And I think the new Saddle will help with base jumping issues. I'm working on the core mechanics and the code is still a mess as I figure out how to do things. But the first post in the thread always contains a link to the latest version, and I keep the thread title up to date as well. Definitely not ready for prime-time; what I've got now is pre-release preview stuff. But it's getting there, I have been doing my research and expanding the roadmap. -

Get the latest version here! 0.1.1: Blaze Of Glory Want to camp out? Then take along the Ponderosa Inflatable Crew Module (ICM)! First bolt a Saddle into the ground, then saddle up the Ponderosa. The ICM comes outfitted with the Pathfinder Geology Lab, but other configurations are possible. And if you need supplies, don't forget to bring along the Buckboard shipping container and/or Chuckwagon Inflatable Multipurpose Warehouse. - Added the Saddle Mini-Slab. Attach this to the ground. - Added the Ponderosa Inflatable Crew Module with Pathfinder Geology Lab. - Added the MC-1000 Buckboard, a container able to hold a variety of different resources. - Added the Chuckwagon Inflatable Multipurpose Warehouse (IMW) -
[1.1.2] Kerbal Inventory System (KIS) 1.2.12
Angelo Kerman replied to KospY's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
@Kospy: I've been really enjoying the new KIS, thanks for all your work! I also have a question about ModuleKISPartMount. Is it possible to add nodes at runtime? I can see that there is a GetMounts function that returns a dictionary of nodes, what would KIS do if I added another item to the dictionary? Would KIS recognize the new mounting point? -

I only share textures between my mods, because I know what the textures contain. You'd have to use the MODEL node and specify the locations of the textures. -

Yeah, unfortunately we found an issue last night. I should have a hot fix later today. -

Latest release is now available. It's a small release due to limited time.. 0.3.24: Midas Touch The FLM-14400 now has an alternate gold foil texture for the large tank size NOTE: FLM-7200 and FLM-3600 will get gold foil textures too, this is a work in progress. Added the 3.75m service bay. It has two modes of operation: open end-cap (default), and closed end cap. When closed, you can toggle the service bay doors. -

At the moment, that is correct. But that will most definitely change. I'm introducing new parts as I introduce the new mechanics. -

Considering that I've downloaded the 0.1.0 release, installed it in my test game, and verified that the drill works as intended, yes. -

I've no idea why AmericanPack isn't compatible, I don't do anything with rover wheels. Do you have a link to that mod? Also, I haven't yet updated Multipurpose Colony Modules. That's low priority at the moment. -

Thanks! For now, GitHub remains the best place to get the latest DSEV, and 1.0 is just around the corner (It's been pushed back a bit due to needing a couple of extra changes). Once it hits 1.0 I'll put it on CKAN. -

Funny you should mention that. During one of my lunchtime walks I was thinking of how to have an animated centrifuge snd may have an idea on how to do that. It would be an option if you don't have IR installed. -

Thanks for the suggestion. The picture on the first post is representative of what you'll see with Pathfinder, but not necessarily the final image. The Ponderosa will be there (slightly altered), and that greenhouse will definitely be going. All in due time of course. But, enough hype, how would you like to try something new? Pathfinder 0.1.0: Save My Soul https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqd4VXZmxqw And Uprising License: CC-BY-NC SA 4.0 Do you have what it takes to be a prospector? Then step right up and try your luck with the Gold Digger Portable Mini-Drill! Take core samples for science! Analyze the results! Just don't eat the samples. Download Pathfinder 0.1.0 today! -

Ah ok. Thanks for your question. Well, as I mentioned before, Pathfinder is not intended to be a colony mod, so MKS/OKS isn't a dependency. -

Like MOLE and DSEV, Pathfinder is designed to be stand-alone, so you won't need any additional plugins other than what it will come with. That said, you'll have the option to support other mods like the popular life-support mods depending upon what you want to work with.
