  1. Looks pretty good, but in thinking ahead you might want to consider making your RCS blocks a separate part. That, or be prepared to have a plug-in that can handle them because I remember reading something about parts with "built in" RCS being problematic. It was solved by the guys that did the B9 pod/cockpits with integrated RCS, but I know thats a custom-written plugin for them.
  2. Please pardon my necro-threading, but I have noted something crucial here. The download link provided above contains ONLY config files, no part models or textures. I assume it is meant to be installed ontop of the download provided in the OP. I will be testing that theory, along with 0.24.2 32-bit compatibility, momentarily. Will update this post with results.
  3. For those of us with multiple-harddrive setups, does this only apply to the Program Files folder on the drive where Windows itself is installed? My steam library defaults to a different hard drive with a folder that just happens to be called Program Files
  4. Great work so far. Is it your intention to show just a little bit more love to the 2.5m RCS tank, particularly in the area of the "tubes"? Perhaps some sort of hazardous fuel warning label on the center tubes of each cluster of 3, and maybe in general a bit of bump mapping, maybe something reminiscent of the EFT on the Space Shuttle? Examples below. http://www.geisinger.kramesonline.com/HealthSheets/7599.img http://www.clipartbest.com/cliparts/RiG/oKp/RiGoKpLiL.png http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a5/Externaltank.jpg [The ridges near the clamp]
  5. Outstanding work, definitely in line with the modeling quality we have all come to know from ASET projects, cant wait to give it a go. Would it be worth the time to consider doing up your own small radial attach battery to replace the stock 150's that you have mounted on the sides? Nothing against the stock batteries (other than the green lightbulb...) but they seem cartoonish compared to your style of art.
  6. Spectacular work, cant wait to utilize this as I have yet to come up with a reliable way of delivering an assembled rover. One question however, why do to wheel-well fenders glow so brightly? Will they be that bright in any circumstance, such as on the dark side of Mun?
  7. Perhaps a ModuleManager config that changes the bottom node of the "stock" Taurus heatshield downwards a bit so that it lines up appropriately with your decoupler, allowing equal usage of either part. I am unsure if such a thing is possible with my limited modding knowledge, and I would suggest adding it in as an "Optional" item to alleviate possible broken crafts/saves?
  8. Same issue as above, its actually what I pulled this thread up to report but Apple beat me to it. Confirmed that it occurs while using the S3 Heatshield as opposed to the new "stock" heatshield supplied with the Taurus, which has a lower profile.
  9. I have not personally used this modification myself, but here is a possible solution that meets the OP's request for a "payload shell". Credit to RoverDude and his MKS system for pointing the following mod out as useful: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/77505-Cargo-Transportation-Solutions-%28WIP%29
  10. Well 0.24 claims to be one of the heaviest bug-fixing updates to date, perhaps it may work itself out post-patch.
  11. Im having difficulty stacking any of the rovemate bodies on top of each other, or in general using them as anything but the first parts on any particular build. Seems to be most prevalent with the top and bottom nodes, the font and back ones I havent really utilized. My goal is to stack up the Bertha bodies top-face to top-face to make a double-thick base for a construction crane rover.
  12. Just going to throw this in here, but congratulations to the KSPI team on this thread reaching 1000 pages of posts. Great mod!
  13. Do the 3.75 meter tanks/parts here match the size of the new SLS "extra large" parts in .23.5? I have not re-installed KW post-update yet because of compatibility chaos, just checking first. First forum post, btw. \o/
