  1. My understanding is that SAS modules keep the craft from rolling, but not pitching or leaning over. Is that correct?
  2. Flies fairly well, good agility. Requires: JellyCubes MK2 Hull Bi-Coupler and Forward Swept Wing. http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=4886.0
  3. I was aiming for the Su-34, but that\'s close enough.
  4. Whipped this one up today. Hint, if you need it: It\'s Russian
  5. Wow, these are some.... interesting... approaches. The skycrane idea is bulky but cool.
  6. Another shameless watermarking by ebaumsworld. Hilarious video, though.
  7. Please rise for the playing of the Kerbal National Anthem.
  8. Thanks for the stock version. Man, this thing can turn on a dime! Congrats!
  9. It\'s easy to make your rover the final stage on a vessel, but... what kinds of designs would allow a lander to deploy a rover (or rovers) and then take off? Strapping rovers to the sides of a lander seems like a good way to make the lander fall over and explode. Stock solutions for the lander itself would be preferred, though the rover doesn\'t need to be. Ideas?
  10. That\'s just silly. If you put a jump ramp on the ice somewhere, could you leap right into a low orbit?
  11. It will be fixed in the next update, most likely.
  12. You\'re in luck. Somebody just released this: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=14831.0 It\'s a little buggy at the moment, but it solves the control problem.
  13. No pictures, and no craft file.... what\'s the point of this thread? You need to have pictures prepared BEFORE you start a topic.
  14. In a valiant attempt to best antbin\'s time, I trimmed down my vessel by omitting the nosecone adapter, removing the 2 tail fins, 4 small control surfaces, and one landing gear bay (total of 0.88 mass and 0.72 drag). Started with a 45 degree climb, dropped to about 20 degrees after I hit 10km, and cruised at 15.5km on max thrust through the trip. After the fuel ran out, I adjusted my heading and pitch to line up my velocity vector with KSC2 (probably should have done this earlier) and glided straight into the building. Alas, I was unable to topple antbin. 22:27, 3x KIA Ran out of fuel shortly after 20 minutes. About to deliver the parcel right through the friggin\' wall: Kaboom!
  15. When I tried to launch, the middle engine exploded. You might wanna adjust the outer fuel tanks so the rocket isn\'t standing on the middle engine.
  16. Here are some screenshots of the plane.
  17. The extra delta-v expended for the injection burn is made up by Minmus\' lack of gravity. It takes almost no power to break away and steer back toward Kerbin.
  18. I took the EZ MiniMun II into orbit with MechJeb, landed on Minmus, and returned safely. I\'m surprised at how little it takes to make that trip.
  19. I have fun building ungainly rockets that lose control and explode mid-air. Landing on Mun for the 40th time is boring.
  20. I searched and made a list of music-related topics over here, some time ago. There\'s PLENTY of great suggestions in those other threads. http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=8979.0
  21. Operationally, MechJeb\'s Translatron can keep you motionless in the air. Using the 'Keep Vert' setting with a speed of 0 and the 'Kill H/S' box selected will do it.
