  1. I'm not sure if this is against the license of this mod to share, but I created a procedural probe core using this mod if anyone is interested. I'm really new to this, but I've tested it in the game, and it seems to work pretty well, as well as can be very useful. If anyone wants to take a look at it to improve on it, let me know.
  2. Alright, I'm going to try lowering the values on for heatProduction under ModuleEngines and ModuleEnginesFX. Hopefully that will solve the issue. Thank you for the reply kind sirerer.
  3. Hi all, I have a question about sizes lower than default with the mod. I added a scale which is half of 62.5cm or 31.25cm in the stack scale type. I'm doing this mainly for engines for smaller probes, which are engines that normally are no bigger then 1.25m, but I just need smaller for looks, but in the editor, as soon as I scale an engine down to this size, it glows red as though it had been burning for a while. Now, I think this might have to do with the scale exponents of its max temp, but I am not sure why this would happen in the editor too. Before I got into the exponents in the mod, I wanted to ask you guys, because I honestly don't know how I'd edit the number anyway. Does anyone know what the issue is, and how I might be able to fix it, or is scaling something this small just a bad idea to begin with? I searched through the thread, but I just couldn't find anything, or really think of good terms to search for. Thanks in advance.
  4. Jobs definitely saw the potential in things. Like with the GUI, Xerox had gold, but the people in charge just didn't understand it and thought it would potentially ruin the company. Jobs didn't invent it, he just saw that it's potential. I still am not a fan of him though, and I believe Woz was truely the technical genius, and he did it for the pleasure, not the profit. The Apple II, more specifically the IIGS was a computer completely unlike Apple of today. It was highly expandible and had some amazing features. I think back then, they were great. Don't really like their products today.
  5. Gonna love using that hub for probes. Helps reduce the part count, because I love the aesthetics, as well as the power benefits of surrounding my probe cores in solar panels.
  6. Hey fellow space adventurers, I've got a question that will be very simple for you to answer I'm sure. While we wait for procedural costs to be implemented, does anyone know how I might change the default cost for the fuel tanks in the game? Currently it's 4000 in my game, and I've gone into the .cfg file for the fuel tank and lowered the cost and entry cost, but this doesn't have any effect in game. Does anyone know what entry I'm missing that's not changing the price? Thank you ahead of time.
  7. It's not gravity exactly, but I like this program called the Powder Toy. It's more of a general physics sandbox, and it does simulate gravity, but their are a wide array of elements and materials you can work with. Now that I think about it, it's actually nothing like a gravity simulator, but you'll more then likely love it. Here's a link, it's not exactly online, so you've got to download the program, but it's hours of fun for me. http://powdertoy.co.uk/
  8. I absolutely love this mod, and I am going back to 32-bit just so I can play this without crashing. Anyway, my question is simple, there wouldn't be a problem if I had this as well as Fine Print installed, right? I assume since Fine Print only really adds new features to the contracts it supplies, it shouldn't conflict with Mission Controller? I appologize if this has been asked and answered, I wasn't able to fine it by searching.
  9. Hey guys, I've decided to install Linux, but before I go ahead, I was wondering if any of you might know if Linux 64bit will need the same 64bit recompile or if it will have the same problems as Windows 64 with this awesome add on. I appreciate any responses and want to thank everyone for this work on this mod.
  10. I really only like serious music. What I mean is, I dislike all the popular stuff, and the music I like is complex and emotional. For example, Godspeed You! Black Emperor is one of my favorite bands. Most of their songs are over 10 minutes long, but worth a listen, if you're patient. They are beautiful. Anyone interested, here is their most recent album on Youtube. The first song is awesome.
  11. Though I think Apple has really great design and quality, I think they are a little too pretentious. I watch their Keynotes every so often, and I notice this wave of smugness coming from the speaker, like Tim Cook, or formerly Steve Jobs, and other project designers who speak. They always seem to jab the competition, or joke on them, in a way that reminds of how wealthy people may look at less-sophisticated poor people. I think this is passed onto those who are devoted Apple consumers too, because many times I've heard/read those types calling Android users trash, or that they have no taste. Now, don't get me wrong, I've heard Android users call Apple users bad things, it just seems less common to me, and I'm the type of person who tries to keep up to date on tech no matter what the company. I've had a 4S and thought it was a great phone, but when my contract ended, I to an HTC One, which I like, but also dislike certain things about it. The main reason I switched though, was due to what I described above. This anger over ripping off one company or another makes me very hesitant to go back. Just so you know though, I usually use Windows for my desktop, but I really love Macbooks a lot, and honestly think they are the best overall laptop. Anyway, that's my 2 cents.
  12. This... looks... awesome! Excited to watch the development and eventually try out myself!
  13. Would absolutely have a use for this. Probably my very favorite LV family. I think we need more then just the FASA one, because that's really devoted to Agena and Mercury, and it'd be awesome to have a more modular version for other upper stages like Nathan said.
  14. I've got the blues, Kraft macaroni and cheese.... Lately, I've been trying to recreate historic missions, and using mods like Procedural Parts, try to create something that looks relatively close to the original. I'm starting chronologically, and I've done a Sputnik type mission, and I've currently trying to do a successful Pioneer 0 mission, but I can't find any SRBs small enough for the ones attached to the actual probe. I've thought about using Sepratrons, but the way they mount, is making it hard to accomplish.
  15. Wow, looks great, Zond and Blok D are by far, some of the finer modeling I've seen.
  16. You can set your folders in the GameData folder to be sorted by Date Created. That way you can figure out the order you installed mods. Help you trace back the performance issues.
  17. I love that you're doing Soviet stuff, thanks Denny. I had a question about the Proton though. Whenever I take off with it, it is very unstable, do you have any suggestions? Your Fregat looks beautiful BTW and I can't wait to make use of it.
  18. I think Interstellar is giving the biggest problems for me. Did a clean install, and went through all the mods I had, probably reinstalled about 95% of them, but left out Interstellar this time. Knock on wood, but so far so good!
  19. I'm so grateful for this fix, it's really gaining me even more enjoyment out of a game I already love, but I am having one issue, that I believe popped up a few days after I installed the fix, as I don't remember seeing it before. It happens when I spend around 10 minutes or more in the VAB and then head out to launch, the game crashes. In the error file, it tells me it's an Unknown caused a Privileged Instruction (0xc0000096). I'm not sure if something else is causing this, so I was gonna do a clean install, but before that, I was wondering if anyone might know of a solution? My specs are: I7 2600K running at stock with Turbo Boost enabled GTX 780 16gb of RAM Running game on a Corsair ForceGT SSD Anyone have this problem too? Heres a link to my most recent crash log files: https://www./?d3u92c12t3uu2bn
  20. God, I can't wait for this. The artwork alone is beautiful. I love the way Block III looks.
  21. -snip- I apologize if this is something I should have searched, but when the link is starred out (****) what should I but in it's place? Was this done because it violates rules?
  22. Looks like that and the new version solved the problem. I tried deleting the Godspeed plugin when 1.1 of TweakScale was released and it didn't seem to work, but as of this release, it's all golden. I appriciate the help and I am loving this plugin.
  23. I should clarify, I mean that when right clicking, no option for scale shows. I've tried Stock and NASA parts, and there is nothing. I have used the Godspeed pack, and I've seen how it was implemented in that mod.
