  1. I came across an old mod called Nagging Nadia. It gave out audible altitude call outs. Pull up warning. Over G warnings and, the mod maker was planning on adding more. I thought it was a great and fun idea to have that. The mod maker of Nagging Nadia stated that he had pretty much moved on from KSP and wouldn't be working on his mod any longer. So, I was hoping that either some other kind mod maker would pick it up and finish it. Make a similar mod that does those things. Or just maybe Squad would add this into the game. Some people might not like the constant call outs but, I for one would love to see and hear this.
  2. I FOUND IT!!!!!! It's called Nagging Nadia. Unfortunately, the maker of that mod hasn't kept up with it. So, if anyone knows of a mod that does the altitude call outs and such. Please let us all know. Or if any mod makers feel inclined to make one. Please, also let us know.
  3. MasseFlieger, I was wondering, I like the audio altitude call outs and audible warnings in your videos. So, what mod is it. I will be using your mod with or without the audio stuff. I am a big fan of ALCOR, RastorProp and, VesselViewer. Only 3 of the about 80 I use. So your mod is much appreciated. Having the audible call outs would be just mind blowing.
  4. Hey RoverDude, any plans for IVA on this one. I love your stuff and use your mods. I'm currently running about 75 mods and yours are some of the best. IVA's with Rastorprop and vesselviewer on your stuff is my favorite way to do missions. Now if I could only find a current Space 1999 Eagle to use with your station, base, and life support mods. I'd be happier than Jeb on launch with a ship full of snacks.
  5. Does anyone know if this currently works for version 1.0.4?
  6. Hey, was just chatting on ckan and have been told they are just waiting for confirmation it works and all should be good.
  7. I did just that. The problem was to change a couple of the settings in FAR. MJ is still a little quirky but, I suspect it's from the new way MJ works. Over all they all seem to working fine. And I posted what I did because each time KSP updates, the mods need to update as well. Minor bugs are bound to pop up. This is the first time I had to update the FAR settings so, I figured that others might want to know. I mean if I didn't initially think to check FAR settings because I never had to before, why would someone else? Just passing that along. Thanks again Snjo for your mod.
  8. I'm also having some problems with reentry to Kerbin. Not sure if it's caused by this mod, FAR, or MechJeb. Capsule wants to orient top first instead of bottom. Capsule shakes itself to pieces do to joint failures as a result. Checking to see which it is. I suspect it's something to do with MechJeb.
  9. ctbram, Your problem can be solved by going to the settings screen from the KSP main menu. Go to the video tab and increase your graphics setting. That should clear up the white box problem with the tool bar. If your comp can't handle it or you have too much of a slow down. You'll have to change it back.
  10. I'm sure Snjo will make FS 7 compatible with .25. He does very good work. In the mean time the dll fix does work. I have been using it since it was pointed out to me. Thanks again Camacha and others for directing me to it.
  11. I understand your point. I just happen to be an American. I just believe also that all people, no matter where they are from, have a right to think what they want. No matter what their government or other people might think. This does not always make it right. We have strayed off of the topic here though so, please disregard the America part and I officially, here and now correct it to be as follows. Every being on this planet. In whatever country, territory, or Province. Has a right to their opinion. Be it right or wrong. So to all the mod makers, no matter where you are from. Thank You.
  12. Sarbian, I did not mean to offend you or any one in my post. My intent was only to point out that, everyone every where has a right to an opinion. In the case I was referring to the original poster was only partly quoted and taken out of context. By the way, I really like the work you have done on mods. I would like to also say that my intent on creating this thread was to have one place where people with very little money, such as myself, could express our thanks to the mod makers. I also wanted to get people to understand that you, as well as the other mod makers have a life outside of making mods. They should try to understand that updates to mods will come out as soon as possible and, complaining it's taking too long does no good. I know that myself and, others would gladly donate to our favorite mod makers if possible. In my case, I'm a disabled veteran that lives on a small pension that barely gets by each month. I thought this thread would be a way I could bring attention to you guys and hopefully those that can donate to you for your efforts would do so. I guess you could say it's the only way I could donate to and, show my appreciation to you all. So, I say thank you and keep up the fantastic work.
  13. This has been one of my favorites as well. Use this with science alert and you have a winning combo. An update would be nice but as always we must consider that mod makers have a life too. I'm sure it will update when possible. Thanks for your work.
  14. RoverDude, I've been following your work for sometime and I have to say you are definitely committed to your mods. I love them all by the way. I have often thought that you must suffer from insomnia like myself. What better way to get all your mods updated than you can't sleep. Whether that's the case or not, good work man. Much appreciated.
  15. Sorry Camacha. I did not see that earlier post from him. I did not mean to offend. Lots of posts to read. I did use the dll listed on his github page and I can tell you all that so far no problems other than version checker telling you it's version isn't compatible.
  16. This is America and, your entitled to your opinion. The thing is, you only partially quoted from Boomerang and, he makes a good point. How many good mods fell off the grid because of some unappreciative ranting that the mod maker got tired of hearing. Why would someone continue to work on something for free that some idiot wanted to complain wasn't happening fast enough? Lucky for us there are quite a few mod makers that do just that on these forums. My guess is that you probably do appreciate them and, might just be nit picking through Boomerang's post. I thank you for your input though.
  17. I like to call these folks "Varuka's". In case you don't know, Varuka was the girl in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory that always wanted it NOW!!! No appreciation for what they have or patience for what is coming next. Just the ever present now....Give me, Give me, Give me.
  18. Thanks for the info again. Most of us realize even mod makers have a life outside of Kerbal Space. For those who can't afford to give them a donation, at least show your appreciation for them on the thread I started in the discussion section. Thanks to all.
  19. Good idea. Maybe Squad could even give some sort of in game reward recognition to the best mod maker each year. You got to love a game company that encourages the mod community like Squad does.
  20. Snjo, as you can tell, many people are asking about an update to your mod. It might be a good idea to post a quick comment about how close you are to doing this. I for one understand that you have a life to live. A quick note on progress would probably stop all those begging for the update to be finished. By the way, I love this mod. Keep up the good work and as Spock would say "Live long and Prosper".
  21. If you run mods in KSP. Please remember that when the game updates, the mod makers have to update the mods they made. The modding community has become quite large and quite a few mods are dependant on other mods. So in some cases, a mod maker might update thier mod but it wont be fully functional until the mod that the first one is dependant on is updated. We must remember that these folks are putting thier mod out there for free and are not being paid to do it. These guys are doing this because they want to. Most of them have families, jobs, and everyday lives just as we do. So give them a break and some time to get your favorite mods up to date. I'm sure that a little patience and a thank you would be appreciated by them and would get you a quicker response than complaining that they have not updated fast enough for you. I'd like to give my personal Thanks and tip my can of beer to Squad and especially to all the mod makers out there for turning this great game into a fantastic game. If your like me and don't have money to donate to the mod makers. Leave them a little Thank you note here and let them know that you understand that updating takes time but their work is appreciated. THANK YOU MOD MAKERS
  22. Thanks for the info Cyrik and, thanks also for your mod. We know life takes precedence over mods. Take care of you and, know you have the appreciation of all of us. We look forward to you updating this mod when you can.
  23. I'm not sure about your specific problem. I did what I stated above and am not having a problem. It might be a good idea to send a copy of your toolbar file to blizzy to figure it out.
  24. You can also remove your game saves folder and do a clean install. Then put your game saves back in saves folder. Install mods as desired with clean copy of KSP. This only works if the update isn't a game breaker of course. And you need to reinstall all of your mods you had before but that's part of the point.
