Yes that all works for docking to most things, but the spaceports actually included really need front or rear docking ports to actually fit the ship in the dock. -

One slight problem, where do you put the docking port to dock the ixs in the spaceport?????? No node at the front and the rear is the engine sooooooooooooooo -

Lovely, only using the command pod as I'm not using KSPI atm. Best Pod for the HX series from B9 by far -

Cute as you like Does it use JSI transparency? As that seems to be incredibly resource intensive, quite possible the MOST resource intensive mod fullstop!! -

If you like audiobooks try out the Audio Renaissance ones from Audible. Unabridged with a large cast, best audio version of DUNE ever!! I have read all the books so many time lol, and now I can listen to them whilst wandering around duna, needs sandworms though !!! -

Yeah more gimballing would help, you don't get any tweakables on the VTOL turbofans either. And balance issues can easily be solved with Davon Throttle Control Such a handy mod -

All the craft that I have posted are being flown with far, I tend to use obscene amount of RCS and SAS to control things, got a 100t Honeybadger upto 200m/s at about 5km :D -

I like the idea of retro thrust but in the end I got rid of them. They didn't really add much to manoeuvrability of the craft, adding loads of SAS and B9 compressed air nozzles helps though -

An IR hinge might work, in fact I'm going to try that now, although the landing legs might not be long enough to fold out the module whilst landed.....
