I disconnect, create my own world and claim a mountain made of Element 26. My Hill made of Element 26.

If i recall correctly, that has no fix, even with the bridges from KSC. The only thing you can do in flight is focus the camera closely on your vehicle.

I fly to the Mun and claim a random hill there. My Mun-Rock hill.

I steal your hill. My Stolen, Shiny, Multi-trillion dollar hill.

I buy your hill and create a new one. My brand new hill.

Steam doesn't affect anything here. And it's installed wrong right now. The PF:CE Core Planets can be deleted, but should always be checked off when loading the game if you're doing that. And if you open KU2, you should find some folder with the names of the systems. Drop those in ~/KSP/GameData/PlanetFactory/PluginData/PlanetFactory/ Remove Barry, Stella and Serious, and it (hopefully) should work.
