  1. The reason this certain fandom is subject to attack is due to the fact that the show is aimed at the pre-teen age group, and especially towards females, whilst a large part of the fans are adult males. This creates great confusion for most people (including me). Since these "bronies" don't fit into the target audience, they become the subject of laughter and bullying. I can perfectly understand why people hate on "bronies", and I myself think that the fandom makes no sense, but hate should exist. If you don't like "bronies" just stay away from them, and I suggest MLP fans don't push their weird interest on others. Everyone has a choice. About the art: Great job! Pretty funny, even though I am not an MLP fan. Note: The term "bronies" is not part of any English dictionary.

    iOS 9

Testers reported better performance specifically on iPhone 4s with iOS 9.
  4. Yeah, I'd say judgin by the amount of solar arrays and the size of the ship, the power from the solar panels goes to the ship life support, instruments, avionics and other. The reactor powers the engines exclusively most likely, to keep the power systems separate. Also, the engines and reactor are separate from the crew sections, lowering risk. If the reactor fails for a while or needs an emergency shutdown, all they need to keep the ship running are the large panels.
  5. Can say the same about the fake Russian accents I see so often that hard to get a talented Russian actor when there are plenty available. That's Hollywood for ya.
  6. Any normal photographer would tell you you're mad trying to holda camera steady with your hands during a 15+ sec exposure, while zoomed in read some material before attempting something so daring. People put sandbags under their tripods when taking photos of the stars of the ISS to reduce vibrations, and even lock the mirror in advance to the exposure! Also, you need the right aperture and ISO settings, which you have to adjust manually to suit the situation.
  7. My mother bought me a telescope for my birthday, which was a big surprise. For the first time, I saw the Moon properly. It was Halloween, and instead of wasting time on candy treating or something like that, me and my friend took my telescope to the river bank. It was very foggy suddenly, and it was a full Moon(just the Halloween mood). Just as i set things up, the fog dissipated in a mere minute, and we saw the Moon properly. It was the most exciting thing I've done. Before that, I saw the ISS from various parts of the world a number of times, dragging along acquaintances and friends. I also saw the ATV5 and the Progress once.
  8. Pretty irrelevant argument since some of the latest Android phones don;t have an SD card slot or it is very hard to reach. Also, remember that an SD card is external memory, whereas all memory on an iDevice is internal and is retrieved much faster, significantly increasing performance when in comparison to, say, an app stored on an SD card. The Apple Watch(not iWatch) is not pointless. No product is pointless, it is just your opinion that it is pointless, and your opinion is not relevant. Just because there is a gold version of the Watch(Edition) doesn't mean Apple is a terrible company. I fail to see how this sentence of yours was relevant in any way. I use iOS because it is polished, built with care and has the largest app library, and is very welcoming for developers. I use Apple products because they feel premium, they make you look more impressionable, they are of the highest standard and are supported for a long time. Cheap Android phones or tablets impress no one, have tons of compatibility issues, and are overly complicated for something as simple as a phone. Apple has always been the innovator on the market. This post will be too big to name all of the innovations and influences they created. Most of Android and other OS's that we see today have their roots from Apple. Windows was ripped from Mac. Android was ripped from iOS. IA like S voice were ripped from Siri. Capacitive touch screens in phones were ripped from the iPhone. Tablets were ripped from the iPad. Sorry but Apple was always the obvious leader here. Question to OP: why is there a multi-choice poll when it should obviously be a single choice one? And why are the names of companies and OS's not capitalized?
  9. I'll have to agree with him here too. Once you're in their ecosystem, there is no point getting out, especially if you bought apps from the App Store or anything else. Something I know about Androids from high tech friends: Google often releases bad updates which can actually decrease your phone's performance drastically, or, like in the case of my friend who has a Nexus 5 and recently updated to the newest Android version, got his phone stuck in a reboot loop and could only fix it by re-installing an update with a PC. Such a mess never happened with iOS. Yes, Android gives you more customization options, but has a steep learning curve and isn't very intuitive. I like to modify things, but when it comes to a phone, I don't want a PC with a tiny screen. I just want an easy to use and fast smartphone like the iphone 5s. Once again, Apple has Touch ID, and very few Android devices have fingerprint scanners (Samsung phones only).
  10. Seen it yesterday with some friends and we were blown away. Yes, we have seen the old trilogy in advance, so we knew what to expect. The acting was superb, the action was pitch-perfect and wasn't based on rag-doll physics, and the visual aspect was great. CGI was used to a bare minimum(20%), so the movie looked pretty realistic. There isn't much dialogue, since the story is told through action. The movie raises a few relevant topics along the way, which is a nice combination too. What do you think about it? P.S. Go watch this on the big screen, tablet isn't acceptable. Also, it was shown on the Cannes film festival.
  11. Only some will get this great job! +rep http://futurediary.wikia.com/wiki/Yuno_Gasai
  12. You can't activate the DLC without having the base game.

    Agar.io

Love the game! I mostly play as Mars or ISIS like my friend, and usually get up to #3.
  16. Actually, it WOULD matter(also you have a grammar mistake there). It is impossible to undock a ship without anyone on it. The grabber mechanism is located on the Ranger Furthermore, their maneuver had a periapsis dangerously close to the even horizon, so they had no time to spare. Also remember, those are high-tech plasma engines, and every engine re-ignition is a risk. Shutting down engines and re-activating them isn't as easy as in KSP. Also, to ignite the Ranger engines, someone had to be on board to do that, as well as shut them down. It would also take too much time for Cooper to get out of the Ranger, close the hatch, and somehow ditch it, all while the Endurance is accelerating. Of course, none of this would be possible, so the only option was staying in the Ranger. But yes, there is something weird going on with centripetal force at the center of a spinning Endurance. They probably thought it was too complex to have to act it out. Zero G scenes take a lot of prep and acting skills, and are very tiring and complex.
  17. Actually, it is relevant whether you have a degree or not. I can also claim to have studied something in college related to relativity and start making assumptions here. The reason for why Cooper had to stay in the Ranger is because after the explosion, the Endurance got severely damaged and it was also mentioned that the linkages have been destroyed. Thus it was only possible to dock the Ranger and the Landers to the docking ports, but impossible to transfer fuel, connect electric lines and establish a connection between the Ranger and the Endurance ring module. Someone was supposed to detach the Ranger on their side. Though it is a mystery why CASE couldn't do that. Possibly because he was in command of the main Endurance part, and for Brand it was impossible to control such a wreck of a ship. And once again, it was admitted by Kip Thorne that some things had to be made impossible or seemingly impossible for the sake of the plot. I recommend reading his book, "The Science of Interstellar", it explains a lot. - - - Updated - - - Wow, censoring Phillip K. D1ck, I have the impression the forums are for babies and won't even allow names that might remind a person of male genitalia.
  18. Wow, you are the ignorant one here. You have very terrible memory of r movie and start making baseless assumptions. We still don't fully understand how black holes work inside, it is all theory and Newton's physics don't work there. You are no physicist and have no degree whatsoever in the field, so you don't have the right to speak of the movie like that.
  19. Astronomer get off Uranus and get working! (get it, since in his profile it says he is on Uranus)
