Been real busy lately, checked in today and WOW looks like an awesome update coming, can't wait. Have to agree "Beta Than Ever".

Sounds like they will be a mod and not in the stock game....just a guess from that statement. To bad about "not soon", was looking forward to those parts. Still great that this mod is going into the game.

Its not a mod (not free either but cheap enough) I use Pinnacle Game Profiler to set up controllers for all my games. Works with KSP and everything else I have.

Gonna have to disagree with this, everything I've owned from Mad Catz is junk (friends and family also). There stuff looks nice, but the quality is lacking.

I use a Logitech Extreme 3d Pro also, works great with KSP.

You could try amanual impact driver. Don't need to put all you're body weight into either.

Personally I really don't care if the throttle is at 0%, 100% or anywhere in between. Its easy enough to change, shift,ctrl or x (for me, my analog throttle drops it back to 0) I just find 50% odd. I can't think of another game that starts with the throttle on, "arcade style flyers" don't count. Like I said earlier these 50% throttle posts keep popping up and a lot of people seem to not like it. Hey maybe someone should start a poll. Anyways, I really don't care where the throttle is at BUT it should be at 0%.

With as many of these threads about 50% throttle that pop up maybe the devs will get the hint.....

Thats funny, I play a lot of Il-2 and wear out joysticks, so I buy the same one so the wife doesn't know.

I saw it on Steam and tried the demo, launched a rocket crashed it rather fast, then bought the game.

I use a Logitech joystick and SpeedDaemon is right about the precision, keyboard works better for fine control, I like the stick for flying planes though. I do have the RCS controls on my hat, and I find that much easier to use than the keyboard.

Most things in game don't bother me to much, but the up/down in eva that one drives me nuts. I do have a pet peeve with the way some people post pictures. Why post a black picture whats the point, wait for the sun, time warp, there is even a mod for it...... Ambient Light Adjustment.

Same here, I use Pinnacle Game Profiler to map keyboard and mouse to controller.

I use Pinnacle Game Profiler with my logitech, should work with Sidewinder, but it is a pay for program. You do get a free trial with it. To me its well worth it, I use it for all my games and you don't have to turn off any security.
