ExoMars 2016: on its way to Mars!

Confirmed that the signal was lost before landing. We will know for sure tomorrow morning as to whether the mission was a failure. It's not looking good. -
ExoMars 2016: on its way to Mars!

Looks like the mission failed... -
How does a BNTR Mars Transfer Vehicle work then? Wouldn't the propellant all boil off?
-
Same here.

Yep. Unfortunately, they've been completely silent since then.

Harambe has had enough hurricane-related stuff. Between this and the proposal to rename Hermine to Harambe, I'm starting to get sick of it.

Why doesn't Antares fly with payloads other than Cygnus?
_Augustus_ replied to _Augustus_'s topic in Science & Spaceflight
Sounds like Orbital needs to figure out a better way to compete in the market. What if they gave Antares a proper upper stage? -
Then how is JWST launching on the Ariane V?

All of you that have posted before me have pretty much said what I would have, but I do have words of my own. When I got KSP over two and a half years ago, I was awestruck. This game changed my life. KSP has been the sole reason that I have become interested in space exploration and science, and ultimately the reason why I became a member of the astronomy community. This game has changed me and helped me decide on my future. I want to be an astronaut or work at JPL or Caltech or SpaceX. KSP has made science a whole new world to me, and it saddens me that this game seems to be at an end. I don't know enough about SQUAD's policies to like or dislike what they're doing, but there are clouds on the horizon and a storm approaching. Whether the game, community and dev team can survive is not up to solely the community, it is up to SQUAD. To those at SQUAD, I do ask of you to not ruin the game with DLC and other EA-like nonsense. Keep it how it is and has been. Even if no more updates can be made, the community will be around until the game is no longer available for purchase. Just don't mess it up. Please. And on a last note, I think this poem (which many of you have heard of) by Dylan Thomas eloquently expresses my thoughts. Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Though wise men at their end know dark is right, Because their words had forked no lightning they Do not go gentle into that good night. Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay, Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight, And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way, Do not go gentle into that good night. Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay, Rage, rage against the dying of the light. And you, my father, there on the sad height, Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray. Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light. - Zane, freshman student

It does, somewhat. But Nicole is tiny.

I would agree with this.

I just find it odd that it's doing that. I hope my grandma in Wilmington NC is okay.

Why are they saying it'll loop around instead of coming up the East Coast? I've never heard of a hurricane like that.

The SSC is now fully operational. I still will need a T-adapter if I want to begin. Guidescope arrives tomorrow. Where are you located?
