I get negative productivity from the blue workshop when I place Kerbals inside. And then if I try to build something on the launchpad, it goes into negative. The required part count keeps going up and up instead of down, and the percentage bar climbs into the negative and never stops (goes to -100% and beyond).

Got a link to this thread from someone's signature on these forums https://www.reddit.com/r/KerbalSpaceProgram/comments/37nedh/installing_mods_to_make_ksp_look_nicer_step_by/ It's quite a comprehensive list and instructions to get what I think is the best visual experience you can at the moment, so check it out.

Help in adapting to 1.0
guitarxe replied to davidpsummers's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Drop me a craft file of your monstrosity. I'll see if it can get to orbit and show you how to fly it if it can. I'll also show you how you can redesign it to fly much easier (and probably cheaper, too). -
I also get this issue, but it's not only from this part, from other mods parts as well, so maybe it's something to do with the context menu itself. - - - Updated - - - These gears are great, but I just tried the large ones on my very heavy 175t plane, and the plane lists to one side on the runway about 2 degrees. It was first on one side, and now after adjusting the landing gear position slightly, it's listing onto the other side. It looks like when the game starts, the plane's mass settles on the gear, but the gear doesn't "give" to the weight equally, one gives more than the other, causing it to list to one side. Is this something I'm doing wrong and any way to fix it?

Can this be used with the stock resource ore? Or do I still need to mine the EL-ore to produce rocketparts?

This might be important to note, as seen on that screenshot, my exploding probe would also run out of electric charge while on the dark side. Although, it's strange, because there was enough charge to last the half-orbit in the dark if I had entered while fully charged, which my solar panels ensured. In fact, if I completed the orbit in 1x - 10x warp, there was enough charge. But if I put the warp to 1000x or more, something weird would happen either with the solar panels or the batteries, and my batteries would not charge up to 100% before entering the dark side again.

Mods for alternative temperature gauge?
guitarxe replied to guitarxe's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Oh, thanks! I found Thermal Monitor, but wasn't what I wanted. Those other two are good -
Instant Replay Mod - Possible like WoT or Warthunder?
guitarxe replied to inigma's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
There's this http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/49216-0-24-2-Persistent-Trails-record-share-and-replay-track-data!-(Aug-1-V1-1) -
So there's a bug with the stock temperature gauges which explains why my game consistently crashes whenever I try to fly my SSTOs into orbit. There's a mod http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/120731 that disables them, but I still need to know how hot my plane parts get. Are there any mods that add alternative temperature gauges?

"Guidance is converging" what does this mean?
guitarxe replied to Pawelk198604's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Wish it were possible to do something like that in the game, create your own computers that would follow these instructions, so you can design them just like you design the actually rocket/plane, tweak it, fine tune it, then be able to use it for launches. -
Cockpit Video of NASA's F-15 performing Aerial Refuel

I like that the boom has it's own set of wings. -
Anyone have their ships blow up from overheating when using this mod? I have on my probe stock parts, two SCANSat parts, and then parts from this mod. I don't think it's SCANSat because I've done probes before with only that, and had no issues. But now I have a probe with new science parts, it's in polar orbit. I enabled SCANSat and time accelerated, and eventually the probe just randomly blows up and the after-crash reports states that all parts blew up because of overheating. I'm confused...

Awesome, thanks!

Is there a way to have all of Mechjeb's functions fully unlocked in career without having to research them?

While playing around with my SSTOs, I've noticed this clip that shows the Space Shuttle landing, and wow it sure comes down really steep, not at all at a glide like what I'm used to seeing most planes come down at. Why was that? I know it wasn't supposed to really fly around like an airplane, but that seems a bit extreme. If it lacked "flyability" that much, how did they aim it at the runway from orbit?

This is great, but how do you position it where you want it at the KSC?

[1.3] The Plugin Workshop - Small plugins of varied function
guitarxe replied to Crzyrndm's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Omgosh, I love you. In the absence of my joystick (lended to my brother to play Elite), this has finally made flying space planes possible for me. -
Stock game crashes when flying SSTOs

What's the path to this log from the game root?
