  1. Yeah you must continue. Doing great work. Lets get this beauty flying.
  2. Starting to feel pressure Mike? We have great expectations ;-)
  3. Yes complete both. Free market. People can make the choice themselfes. But both of you guys have to make your product better than the other one ;-)
  4. Everyone has the right to do what he pleases and the other side is that we now get a sort of competition wich is not a bad thing. It could lead to the best shuttle you can get. I have to be honest and Mike worked his arse of and pleased many people already so I know for sure he can do this on his own if he wants (and he has the right to do so). Following this thing a bit I think the conclusion is that both guys favour to work alone on their projects where Jovzin unfortunately is dependent on someone who doesnt seem to make any progress. So thats a +1 for Mike as he is a one man band. So I say this: bring on the competition and may the best shuttle win ;-)
  5. BTW, I would be okay to organize stuff. Is someone else thinks thats where his skill is than I'm okay with that as well ;-)
  6. I think itsneccesarry to get more organized here indeed. Its becomming a bit of a mess this way with a file here and there. You can see we all are technical/nerdy people with little skill in organizing. Autism is ruling here lol. Wy don't we (the ones working/adding on/to the shuttle) unite via some kinda communication tool (steam i.e.) and create something great all together? Let a select people test the stuff we are working on and only post/release finished stuff.
  7. Mike, you can remove my flying instructions at the front page. They are no longer valid with the new aero update. Maybe you should now fix 1 single download file with al the latest updates (including the tailfin fix and enginemount flap) and strip down the first post to make it clear for everyone.
  8. Yes the flap is a control surf indeed. - - - Updated - - - Looky looky, backside shuttle reflactions on the dashboard ;-) BTW if there is anyone able to help me with Unity & Rasterpropmonitor, that would be great. I could do it myself but there is only so much a man can do on is own and it would take forever. Some of the buttons need to be mapped to rasterprop.
  9. If you are really from NZ, its 3:30 AM over there Go to sleep man haha
  10. You did everything or is there still work from me needed?
  11. Do you think you can map the dropping of the chute to an action group? Is it a jettison? I think I can map those functions to their real life counterpart knobs in the IVA cockpit.
  12. You had problems flying it or did you like it? Not sure if I did understand your previous message correctly ;-)
  13. Sure thing! I am really happy how it flies now on stock.
  14. Shouldnt be a problem. Empty they should weigh the same and thats when you need the right CoM - - - Updated - - - You can change all those things. Just copy everything down from mass to the lifting modules.
  15. Ok Ill test it thpuroughly before you can put it up. Please let me know if the parts used in my craft file are still valid.
  16. Here you go Mike. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-ALRjYUGKH7VVk5ZVdicXg0Zk0/view?usp=sharing Mind you that these are based on the 1.5 version. So you have to carefully copy the stuff over. Should be pretty easy though. Copy and replace everything from Mass down to the end of the Lifting/Control module.
  17. Don't wory about crediting me, lets just create a freaking awesome shuttle ;-)
  18. As you are still updating, maybe its best that I send the configs with updated aero to you and you very carefully merge the stuff? - - - Updated - - - UFC completed. ETA for the rest of the cockpit, the year 2024
  19. Mike, I like how the shuttle launches in your last update. Very stable. Don't know if its realistic but in real life the whole launch gets flown by autopilot so I don't see a problem there. The only thing I was having issues with are the right gear and the canadarm wich also sometimes clips out of the model while reentering. Maybe when you have a fix you can send it to me, Ill merge the aero fix and send it back to you to post on the first page? Ooh btw, is it an idea that instead of your canadarm you include the RKE Kanadarm? I use it and love it. Works like a charm.
  20. Yeah stock, sorry haha. Here I come in at a shallow angle to show how the speed/drag goes. I also stall it above the rwy to show the stall speed. I am happy with the result. I just did a full mission and speed stays great at a 20 degree glideslope. S turns worked also.
  21. Ok guys I have some news. I have been tweaking a lot (stock aero) and I think we are getting somewhere. I am uploading a vid right now but it glides a lot better and is still stalling around 50m/s. In the vid I am even gliding in with a 15 degree slope and still make it to the runway.
