Hey, So firstly thanks to Scerion for asking the questions and RoverDude once again for the excellent answers. I'm going to watch the video you mention now and basically figure out if I can get to the ship in 19 days to save them (or possibly once again accept their inevitable doom at my hands). However this learning experience has been great and means I should be at least more prepared to plan for the Duna Space station / base in the future EDIT - Turns out I've watched that video before but sadly the information went straight over my head. I totally understand where I'm going wrong now. Once again thanks for all the help and going to have a play with it all on Wednesday nights stream. N1tch

Just a quick note to say I installed and played with SCANsat last night for around 4 hours. Loads of fun, like you say giving satellites an actual purpose. Also unlike many I've not discovered any easter eggs (though I know of some, just not where they are) in the game yet and I'm going to be using SCANsat to locate them all eventually. Great mod. Thanks for creating it and its continued support. N1tch

I voted other. The first mod that was recommended to me and helped me tremendously was Kerbal Alarm Clock. I think as a new player through to a seasoned veteran it's really useful to stop you over shooting your mark when you get a little over zealous with the time warp. That's not to say some of the other mods you suggested are no also very useful but for example Engineer is great but only when you understand what it all means, KAC is nice and simple. Just my 10 cents.

I've had 2 people tell me that after watching me stream they got KSP. I've not seen them since so either they're too busy playing KSP or they hate me

I've yet to get to Jool or Eeloo. Contracts is really encouraging me to be efficient with fuel and launches which I hope will help me finally get there.... eventually.

Hi all, I've lurked in the forums long enough but only recently created an account. I hadn't said 'Hi' and for that I'm sorry so hello to all I got KSP back in January 2013, really enjoyed it but failed miserably initially. As many after watching some youtube videos (possibly by some of you) I learned a lot more about the science involved in space travel and manoeuvring and this gave me a boost to want to play more. Fast forward to today and I'm still no expert but am loving every new update and the fantastic MODs the community creates for us to use and play with. I started streaming KSP some months ago and this also really helped me improve thanks to all the helpful hints, tips and suggestions the viewers from the community suggested. I'm very proud to have been chosen to stream for KSP TV and am looking forward to meeting more of you over the months to come. I may also rely heavily on yuo to help me finally get to places like Jool and Eeloo, something I've still not accomplished yet. You can blame Squad for releasing great new additions like the Science and now the Contracts, which makes me reboot my career saves. Oops this ended up being a far longer intro that I intended N1tch
