  1. Hey guys, I am making videos and nobody replys! Where is Porry, anyway? I know he is AFK, but for how long? It was a week since he left. I am finishing a mission to Verviedi and going to start a new one soon. I think I have to discuss the ideas of new missions. I have a nice drive section, a cool spaceplane and lots of bright ideas. But I am ready to hear yous thoughts about locations to visit. I really like this mod, places, hardcore spacecraft designing... But as for now, I have Part 2 of my adventures here. I've decieded to write dialoges for guys, and this was cool to work on. (For Porry) If you want me to start a full-scale subtitle series about Verviedi colonization, my YouTube channel is all yours... P.S. This part is not final. In Part 3 I am planning to do a Cyssor gravity assisting flyby (Real purpose is to show the planet) and return the spaceplane home. The video will be here during this week. Waiting for any suggestions about further storyline, because making videos 2/3 abuot takeoffs and landings is good for a first try, but I want them to be more interesting not just in terms of KU2. I think I am going to become a real YouTuber if it all goes this way...
  2. Hello, guys! I've decieded to make a spaceplane and stick it at the bottom of the Grasshopper. The Idea was successful, and by now the first part of the Grasshopper-1 return mission to Verviedi is done - Bill and Jebediah are down at the surface with their spaceplane. You know, guys, I am not a YouTuber, but I've decieded to make a video report specially for Porry, the developer. The screenshots are here, too: The Grasshopper is escaping. The Abaddon is clearly visible near Kerbol. Entering Abaddon system I've entered Verviedi's SOI on highly inclined trajectory. Used gravity of Phobius to fix inclanation.   3. Okay, guys, I am back!!! I've just got a new computer on black friday, so now I can run KSP with KU2, NEAR, B9 and KW with no lags. Sadly, it's still 0.24.2, cos 0.25 is yet to be supported by PF:CE. Good news - I am launching a new mission! Jebediah is driving a brand new vessel. The drive section is already in orbit, i've used a name "Grasshopper" for it. So, Grasshopper-1 with Jebediah Kerman at helm is ready to leave, but I still think, where is this mission going. 1) I can design a light spaceplane and deal another return mission to Verviedi. With NEAR installed it will be a great deal of fun. 2) I can use just a drive section to deal a fly-by mission of... anywhere! The Grasshopper is self-sufficient and has enough Delta-V to carry one kerbal in the cupola module to any system and back. Every star, every planet! 3) I can stick a lander to the Grasshopper and land on one of Verviedi's moons or on Fierbinte. (The moons of Gas giant are still too glitchy). This will be a challenging mission, especially with Fierbinte, because orbits of something sized 600km are very fast, a lot of dV to land. Even with 0,26 g. So, you choose, guys! P.S.   4. Well, I've tried the Active texture manager, it didn't load the game at all. P.S. I promise you, I'll deal a new mission with screenoshotos this weekend, even if i'll have to play a glitchy KSP on my laptop. So stop writing how many people aren't responding and get yourself to fix Kydros! Sorry, had no time earlier.
  5. Everything will be fine, the project will continue. I will never forget about KSP, I am already planning a new mission (because the one to Kydros cannot be continued). I think the Verviedi's moon is a fine idea. I still don't know which one is better. P.S. Do you have 64bit Windows installed? My small laptop, wich I used for all the missions you've seen is running on 64-bit one. The game is lagy and low-fps, but it runs. I've tryed to run a game on my decktop computer, it's much more powerful. But I didn't realise it runs 32-bit so KSP runs out of memory every time I try to load it. Any suggestions?
  6. Remember, you've challenged me to go to Kydros with Kerbals aboard? Today I've finally decieded to do this. I came up with cool ship design, I've installed the last B9 pack (but the actual ship has no HX parts). I've launched a ship into orbit, escaped, intercepted Kydros, decoupled the lander, went sub-orbital, and then... What the heck? The actual ground was about 50km below the sea level. When I passed the sea level, my controls and camera went mad, so I couldn't land (I loaded the quicksave). I think it's a problem with the height map. Fix it, please, because I am looking forward to explore Kydros! Till then, Bob Kerman is staying in orbit. Don't make him wait! P.S. I think it would be a good idea to build a starship based on new B9 parts and send it somewhere...​
  7. (Suggestion) I really like this mod and I like to visit different places in it, so I want to take a small part in its development. I've recently done a nice map for the new oxygen-atmosphere moon of Cleathe (It needs one). If you don't like the idea of adding moons to this planet, you can add it as separate planet for the existing star systems...   8. Today, as planned, Jebediah Kerman have returned home. His mission took at least 300 years, but he is home and waiting for new adventures! Here are the screenshots: Liftoff! Going to the small planet with lov gravity (no matter how far is it) is not as hard as this mission, but I will send Jeb there once 2.5 is out! I am waitinng! Thanks for making this great mod, which gave me a new challenge in KSP!
  9. Challenge accepted. But I'll have to think on ship design for a while... (this one took three days:confused:). And I still don't know, will jeb safely return (he's still at Verviedi, but I'lll have multilple tries). Perhaps, I'l use same drive section, but a different lander... You know, it takes not so much deltaV to return from your star systems, cos onse you escape, it takes a tiny bit of DeltaV to encounter Kerbin (the orbital speed around Kerbol is low there). So, if I safely dock the ETO-1 capsule (I won't carry the rest of it, it is not an SSTO), it will mean Jeb is already home. The screenshots will be here once I return Jeb. And, no, there were no probes for moons in this mission. P.S. What are characteristics of Kydros? Where will it be? i still have problems loading something except of the Abaddon system, so i like it the most. Waiting for update with new different (that's important) oceanic moons. And the new rocky ones, too.
  10. For now I am in the middle of my return mission to Verviedi, and (good news) I have some screenshots to share. My ship is called The Vessel (I didn't try to be original). I used KW rocketry parts (not cheating!). It is made of two stages that are launched separately. The main pilot is (The original and the Best) Jebediah Kerman:D. Screenshots: The Vessel is docked in orbit of Kerbin: During the main burn: Approaching at Verviedi: Two moons of Verviedi(Visiting one in the next mission): The ETO-1 (Easy-to-orbit) lander enters Verviedi's atmosphere: Verviedi as Jeb sees it: Epic win! Safe landing! One small step... (DOUBLE Epic win!): The actual return will happen tomorrow (Jeb is staying at Verviedi for a while - Science!) P.S. Really waiting wor the next update! New places for Jeb to go! I saw, you are making another oceanic moon - don't make'em all same - make them at least different colour (blue can be different)...
  11. Sorry for not replying for long, I couldn't play KSP for two days (problems with computer). But very soon I'll upload some screenshots of my new mission! Thanks you for making Verviedi rotating so fast, it makes my return mission twice easier. (Getting to equatorial orbit will not be so hard as, for example, from Laythe). And I promise, I'll return Jebediah home... P.S. Did you finally accept my idea of changing "Ceti_map" to blue one? I still dont understand, why not? It looks more... oceanic and more attractive, trust me!

  13. Will the Folion remain in Abaddon system? Will the new gas giant be orbiting Kerbol? Same question with Iceworld. Wil they be in separate tab in the loadscreen? (I play with only Abaddon system on). Finally, why are you doing theese new planets, if you could make the ones you already have better (Bugfixes, easter eggs, different changes). P.S. Are you inerested in my screenshots in this thread (Or maybe somewhere else)?

It's said in description, that There was a massive war at Verviedi, why don't you make some stuff, that is left after war? i recommend you to put a 10-km metallic space station (more like Death Star) in low Verviedi orbit. Use Gilly as a source, but make it flat, as if it would be built by an intelligent species. Make the gravity low, because otherwise it makes no sense to build a station, that would collapse under its gravity (there's empty space inside). P.S. I remember you putting easter egg on Verion. Can you put a destroyed starship on Verviedi (That's all not necessary if you don't know how, but it would be a reason to visit Verviedi).
  15. As I see, the new Folion planet is based on Laythe. Here you say It's a gas giant. So why is it only 500km size? I want to send an automated probe there... Does it have any surface? And if it does not, how did you do this basing on Laythe? If you want to add moons, please add a small moon (~100 km) with thin atmospere based on Duna (Is it possible?). P.S. Guys, I fly my rovers and ships to Abaddon system using the new 5m parts from KW Rocketry. Actually, I use it only for getting my (very) heavy nuclear drive sections, that are mostly stock. And it is not cheating!
  16. I was doing a rover mission to Verviedi today, and I have some questions. http://i59.tinypic.com/3088939.jpg Is Verviedi really suppose to look like this? You have it a little bit different on your screenshots (I have no cloud mod, but still...) When I arrived at Verviedi I found it really flat. That was strange, because I saw the height map (there are mountains and craters there). http://i60.tinypic.com/17pyet.png I found the reason. You have the Verviedi "heightMapDeformity" parameter set for only 400 (The numbers of all the other planets are greater). Was it in your plans to make it so flat? Maybe you could increase this number... http://i62.tinypic.com/2whdw84.jpg P.S. Still having "big DEFAULT in reverse" issue for Ceti and Fierbinte...
  17. Now I've loaded just the Abaddon system, and I have the Phobius looking like Minimus. I know it's a memory bug, but is there any way to reduce your texture size? The stock game settings (texture resolution) seem to have no effect on the PF objects. Could you make an optional reduced size textures in the next update? P.S. Bespin is a nice name for the gas giant with an oxygen atmosphere...
  18. I've installed the mod properly and was playng with just Abadon system loaded, and it was fine. But when I've loaded (added in menu screen) another star system and a gas giant, the textures of both whole systems with all of the mooons apppeared in strange red-white colour. P.S. Abadon system is still fine I'm running windows XP, KSP 0.24.2
