  1. I think, everyone knows by now the most famous Einstein's equation: E = mc^2 But that's ideal. In 'real life' (if that term could be applicable here) you'll need twice as much.
  2. Hi, I sometimes get simply frustrated by the way the parts are moving in the VAB. When you drag them they move in wrong directions, rotate at some weird angle and snap (or not snap) incorrectly. What I am seeking is a way to find a way to restrict the part movement when I drag them along any of X/Y/Z axes (or their combination) - for example - when I restrict the movement along Z-axis I could only drag in in the X/Y plane. It would be also nice if I could set the pos manually (by typing in the coordinates of the part, ie: X:0.25, Y:0.15, Z:-6.2) and their angle of rotation. Is there a way to create such a mod?
  3. Is there any visual indicator whether the lock is on or off?
  4. I have a question about science labs. I managed to get 8 sci-labs with 'smart' kerbals (sort of) on Moho. At first the labs generated some really good science, but each subsequent collection of data produced less and less science (the same way it happens with any other stock science experiments). I thought the lab would produce a constant amount of science each period. Am I mistaken? I'm currently at 5016 science points, and the warp drive costs 10K. All my hopes were for that science factory... Is that degeneration of science production by design?
  5. Never mind, figured it out. Just stayed on the launchpad on timewarp for several hours until finally, they started receiving. That is a bit strange since 3 transmitters 120 degrees apart at 800 km should have covered every bit of Kerbin surface with possible exceptions of maybe polar regions (too lazy to to the maths). Apparently I need either to launch more transmitters or re-adjust the orbits of existing ones. I presume the signal weakens with distance, what's the maximum?
  6. I've been trying for several days already to sort the things out with this great mod. I covered the basics but still have a few questions: 1. Are there any restrictions about where could I attach magnetic nozzles? Can I cluster them as long as I have a generator powerful enough elsewhere or they should be attached immediately to a reactor that emits charged particles? 2. Can anyone explain to me (in plain and easy words preferably) how do I arrange a microwave transmitting/relaying network around Kerbin. I have 3 stations orbiting at 900 km at approx 120 degree at equatorial orbit each equipped with a 2.5m fusion reactor producing charged particles, a direct conversion generator and a microwave transceiver set in transmit mode. Still I'm getting no power down on Kerbin. What am I doing wrong?
