  1. Hmm. As you know, I'm a big fan of @Kuzzter's Kerbfleet comics. I also enjoy @adsii1970's Kerny Kerman series, and @Reddy's PEGAS code. As for favorite subforum, that's probably the Spacecraft Exchange. I am always impressed by the creativity of the posters there, and even the common things (F-16s, Saturn Vs) have all been done differently. It also needs less moderating than the other subforums. People there are almost always encouraging and supportive. I've never seen a comment telling the OP they've done a bad job. Honestly, it's really refreshing, and I need to visit it more often. My second favorite is Welcome Aboard, because I get a chance to say "Hello!" to all the new users, and share the wonders of KSP and this community with them. However, my browsing habits have changed since I became a moderator. I tend to rely on reports to find areas of attention (so keep them coming!), and less on my own discoveries.
  2. It's a measure in place to prevent spambots. You need 5 approved comments to leave the approval queue. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  3. Since this post is not KSP-related, it has been moved to Science and Spaceflight.
  4. Some questions have been moved to the AtMQAtF thread. Please keep discussion here related to the OP.
  5. Again, it depends. There's no one answer to this question, mostly because it's not something we keep track of. In general, though, the old hands have a fairly easy time, while the fresh blood has to make the coffee, buy the donuts, and flag the spammers. When we're done all that, we can take a 5 minute-break to stretch our legs- but no more than that, or @Badie says heads will roll!
  6. It depends on the day. Beyond that, I don't think there's any way to get exact statistics. When flagging a user as a spambot, it permanently deletes all their posts and content, so it's hard to keep track of.
  7. Well, I suppose that's one way to interpret that phrase. What about this: "early- 2017?"
  8. Nice! My favorite neckerchief slide is from the Netherlands.
  9. http://troop23wheaton.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/philmontarrowhead.jpg Just paste that into your signature box, and resize as needed. I also saved it to my hard drive, in case the site goes down. (It's not my troop's.) I went Northcountry, but not quite into Valle Vidal. The furthest north we went was Dan Beard (great water there, best on the trip). We went about 117, but part of that included walking around camp in the morning.
  10. Photobucket deleted the picture, so it was removed.
  11. Did you go Northcountry or Southcountry? Also, it's now been about 2 years since I went to Philmont. IWGB2P!
  12. Normally because schools in the US have a state-mandated minimum number of hours per school year. I'm going to guess that you get more time off, though.
  13. Tables have always been a bit wonky here.
  14. Congratulations, @Fishy Tree, @Castille7, @KerikBalm, @XB-70A, @OhioBob, and @Ferdoni! Nice stuff!

    Uhh..

I think that's about right. In fact, I thought that one of the reasons for new versions was to fix bugs from previous releases. However, if it's still in 1.2 (or 1.2.9), I'd definitely send it to the bugtracker.
  16. Hello, @memyselfandI, and welcome aboard! I've taken the liberty of putting your error log in a spoiler. In the future, please upload the log to a third-party site, such as Dropbox, and link the download here. The forums cannot handle a lot of large text posts. I hope you get help soon!
  17. Yes, don't get in the way, and don't make things awkward.
  18. Backseat moderating will not be tolerated. Thread locked.
  19. Fry, you know better than to post in a locked thread. >:( Thread locked.
