  1. I know it's a weird question in itself, but besides the main question, I wanted to know if multiple installs would somehow conflict with each other. My three installs are: One with a bunch of mods, another with significantly less mods, and one that's completely stock. P.S. Sorry this post is so short. I can't really find anything else to say.
  2. Yup. NearFutureSolar has it all; circular ones, blanket arrays, these ones, etc. Definitely one of my favorite mods.
  3. To me, it sounds like an error with your KSP install. If you have any mods, try a fresh, stock install. If not, try reinstalling KSP anyway. Because you've been playing since 0.18, I'm sure you understand staging.
  4. I have recently gotten into building spaceplanes. However, to be controllable, for my spaceplanes, I need to place some Vernor thrusters at the front and toggle RCS and SAS. I've seen many spaceplanes (not built by me) that are controllable without RCS thrusters. Is there a trick to spaceplane building without RCS? Or it it just experience?
  5. Awesome! Is this a mod or stock craft, or a mod in itself? If it's a mod it should probably go in the Add-On Development forum. I really like it though!
  6. This is cool! I really needed a radial probe core for one of my projects. Thanks!
  7. I'm a relatively new player to KSP, and i'm planing my first mission to duna (and back; I don't want to strand them) My duna mission will involve a multi launch, assembled in orbit, Copernicus-style Duna Transfer Vehicle. But, a thought occurred to me: Is it all necessary? Can I get to duna in one launch? Can a space station-like mess of a Duna Transfer Vehicle be avoided? I know some people view Kerbals as highly disposable, but not me. I want to bring my Kerbals to Duna and back.
  8. I want to get into modding, but I need a tutorial to follow. I've looked around, and I've found some very different tutorials that say different things. The only thing I've taken out from all the tutorials is that you need a modeler (I plan to use SketchUp and import it into Blender; Blender's interface is, to me, overly complicated.) you also need Unity and KSP parts tools. Anyone know a good, updated modding tutorial? Reply with a link.
  9. Would I be able to model it in SketchUp and import it into Blender?
  10. Give GIMP a try. I think you will find it is enough. I've done tons of logos in GIMP and have never had a problem.
  11. Assuming the bottom diameter from Wikipedia is right, and using this picture, I think it may be possible to calculate the top's diameter! Yay for geometry!
  12. Its shape dosen't look all that like the real thing when you compare my rough model to this render:
  13. Original Post: Well, I (finally) found the dimensions. Here they are: L/W (Base) = 5.02m H = 2.62m L/W (top) = 2.02m Side Angle = 60.19°
  14. I think your best option would be Interstellar. It has some extremely high tech tree items (like the Alcubierre Drive)
  15. Hey everyone, I want to know how to get into modding. I know this will sound bad, but I have no experience in coding. I have just started using Blender, but I would prefer using SketchUp and importing it into Blender. I am also confused about texturing/mapping in blender. Anyone think they can help? PM me with a good tutorial.
  16. I'm talking about the dock on a mac (as in the thing with the application icons.) Whenever I open KSP (which i've reinstalled; it didn't do this before) The dock hides itself. I don't think my mods are really that important. But, here they are AerojetKerbodyneAnimatedDecouplers Firespitter Klockheed_Martian Klockheed_Martian_Special Modulefixer.dll ModuleManager.2.5.1.dll NASAmission RealChute SDHI SmokeScreen Squad TweakScale Virgin Kalactic my log can be found here.
  17. Well, I did what you said, but KSP still crashes when I try to revert a flight and I have to re open it.
  18. I'll reinstall NearFutureSpacecraft and try what you said with ActiveTextureManagement
