  7. How much space it takes depends on a number of factors so I couldn't say. Run the program for 10 minutes and see what you get. You can extrapolate how much an hour would take from that. Cheers! Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  8. It's not a matter of a better program though better compression might work. If you are planning on editing together a video it's best to record as much and as big as you can. You reduce after editing in order to obtain the best quality. Cheers! Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  9. You almost will always need a lot of disk space for the original raw recording. You can reduce it somewhat by setting the game to a lower screen resolution, but in the end, you really need a lot of space to record anything of significant length. Now the final product can be made much smaller with editing, compression, and downsizing. Cheers! Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager

  17. Okay, ENOUGH! The rules are put in place by SQUAD as has been said MANY times. Damion has only been enforcing them. There is no transparency here as it's no one else's business when it comes to moderator actions. It's between the staff and the user and we will NOT discuss it with anyone else. This thread is done. Cheers! Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  18. For the record, I was the one that banned Armadillo for rules violations. If he returns under another account, that will be banned as well per the forum rules. All our actions are governed by those rules and they were put in place by SQUAD and no one else. That image only shows that Damion edited the post and makes NO mention of what was edited. Any speculation on what was edited is not welcome here. We do not deal in rumor and innuendo here. Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  19. Did you not just read what was posted? Nothing was deleted. The posts in question were moved to a private moderator forum for further review. This is standard practice. If the posts do not return, then they have been found to be in violation of one or more rules. We do NOT and will NOT discuss the moderation and actions the team takes with anyone other than the user involved. This isn't going to change. If you can't play by Squad's house rules, you are free to leave. If you want to continue on a topic that has already been deemed a violation of the rules, you risk the banning of your account. That's the way it is and that's how we keep this community a friendly place. Yes, Damion can be short and quick on the draw, but it's not out of malice, but out of the desire to keep things on these forums under control. He has and will always have my full support, regardless of how terse he may be. I get to play good cop and he plays bad cop. But rest assured, I will not hesitate to drop the Ban Hammerâ„¢ on anyone that thinks they can stir the pot without repercussions. Got it? Good. Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  20. Guys! Please check the post dates on these threads, this one is almost a YEAR old! The necro post was so bad it created a mushroom dust cloud. Please, don't necro post. Thread closed. Cheers! Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  21. I would contact Squad directly from one of the emails listed on the main Contact page. You're more likely to get a better response than here on the forums. As far as buying a single copy and projecting the screen, I don't think there's any problems with that. It's still one copy on one CPU which is what the license allows. Cheers! 23. He finished with over $70k in donations. Unfortunately, a few hours before he finished and hit F3, Wolfie disappeared after a break. People were devastated. Hopefully they can figure our what happened and get Wolfie back before his next episode. Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  24. Just because you prefer to play without MechJeb doesn't make anyone that uses it any less of a player. In fact, MechJeb is a great learning tool. I had the damnedest time trying to get a nice circular orbit. After watching MechJeb do it a few times I was able to do it by myself without it. But now having launched a few hundred rockets into orbit, I don't feel like doing it by hand since it's the same old boring thing over and over. Now I can launch the rocket and go grab a drink, a bite to eat, or use the restroom and come back to a nicely orbiting craft. Cheers! Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  25. With a rocket ship! Cheers! Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
