  4. Not sure you're going to find a fanless graphics card these days. That said, I'd look at the NVIDIA 550 Ti. It's a great card and can be had at a decent price. Arrr! Capt'n Skunky
  5. You can gift the game to someone by using a throwaway email to create a new Store account. Purchase the game, clear any personal info from the account, then give the person the email and password to access the account. They can then download the game and change the account information to their own. Cheers! Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  6. If the game is installed in any Windows manged folders (Program Files, Desktop, Documents, My Games, etc) it won't have permission to write files. Instead, it will save them to something like C:\Users\{name}\AppData\KSP\Screenshots. Someone may need to correct me on that exact path, but it's where program saved data defaults to if the application lacks the proper file permissions. This is one of the reasons we recommend installing the game somewhere like C:\Games\. Cheers! Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  7. It's been so long I honestly can't remember. I suspect it was via reddit as that's the only place I could have picked up on it. Cheers! Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  8. Nice station! Until you reach 5 posts, your ability to post attachments is limited. I'll go ahead and lift that restriction for you. Cheers! Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager

  13. What exactly are you editing? Make sure you're not changing any settings that have the word Stage in them. I know there is a value mixed in with the orbital information that relates to staging. Setting that to an incorrect value can goof stuff up. Cheers! Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  14. Parts go in the Parts folder and plugin DLLs go in the Plugins folder. Cheers! Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  15. Check the link near the bottom of the page that says "BB code is ON". It explains all the available codes, including video, that you can use. Cheers! Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  16. Well, at least he didn't call it Kars. Cheers! Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  17. Check the Cart plugin by Tosh. Happy Launching! Arrr! Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  18. Laptops will never make good gaming rigs. Unless you want to play 5+ year old games. Arrr! Capt'n Skunky
  19. Things changed because Squad does not have the time, manpower, or resources to contact every author that might post content. When an issue of "Hey that guy stole my work!" comes up, we need to be able to quickly check the license provided by the original author to see what is and isn't allowed. Up until now, it was fine being an informal thing. Now that KSP has gotten fairly large and the modding community has grown as well, Squad has mandated that all mods include a license. What license used is left solely up to the authors discretion. It can be as simple as "You can do what you want with this" to something as detailed as GPL or CC. Cheers! 21. You can buy VISA gift cards that can be used to purchase the game. Being located in Mexico, a lot of payment options are limited to Squad, mostly due to the added costs and fees collected by other payment processors. More will be available in the future, but for now this is the only viable option they have. Cheers! Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  22. Bwahahaha! Thanks! I really needed that good laugh this morning. Dealing with idiots on reddit had me starting my day all tee'd up, but that just unwound me nicely. Cheers! Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
  23. Great to see you around here Kurt. I'm sorry I wasn't around to get in on that interview, I would have really enjoyed it. I watched your FLoB-athon all weekend and was there at the end when things took a bad turn. I hope you get Wolfie back, that was very depressing. I really enjoyed the show even though I don't play minecraft, I was somehow drawn into to what you were doing. You've also inspired us here to look at doing a Kerb-athon to raise money for Child's Play. We're hoping to do something like a real-time mission to the Mun. I hope we will be able to get you to stop by when we do. Also, if you need help getting Kurt Kerman into your game, don't hesitate to look up one of the staff, any one of us would be happy to help you get him setup. I'd love to see you do more Let's Plays with Kurt Kerman! Cheers! Capt'n Skunky KSP Community Manager
