Your friend is no friend at all. HarvesteR and Squad have always maintained that there will never be any DRM in KSP as it only hurts paying customers and never stops pirates. Just remind your "friend" that by giving away copies of the game, he is only hurting the continued development of the game and taking money from the few actual employees that work on KSP. There is no large publishing house that's losing money from the loss of sale, instead it's coming directly out of the pockets of the few people they have working on the game. I've had discussions with Harv on the issues of t-shirts and what to put on them. He's not crazy about using a large version of the KSP logo on the front or back of a shirt, but he does like the idea of a polo shirt with the KSP logo on the pocket. Mission Control shirts as it were. I keep nagging and pushing for merchandise, but I am not going to hold my breath. The easiest way to search is to go to the Addons forum. Then use the "Forum Search" dropdown just above the blue bar. That will search only in that forum and it's subforums. If you use the search at the top of the page, it always searches the entire site giving you a whole bunch of hits that aren't really what you're looking for. Cheers! Keep it civil or I'm going to lock this topic. There's a reason every attempt to create some form of central mod repository has failed, they take more work and effort than just posting on the forums. Trying to convince someone to change their workflow because you prefer a different method will never fly. Right now, using the forums to distribute your plugin is the best way to get exposure and contact with players and that's not likely to change for some time.
