How much RAM do you have? - - - Updated - - - How much RAM do you have? If you have 8 GB the game will use 3.5 GB maximum and if I't exedes the limit it will crash. Have the task manager open and monitore the memory usage of KSP 32 bit. You could also try the memory monitor mod. -

If I only have 4 GB of memory and the system has 1 GB in reserve, I'm left with 3 GB. As far as I know therr isn't enough memory even for 32 bit. That's why I'm mentioning the percent. If you have 32 GB of RAM I understand that the game will only use 3.5 ore 4 GB. -

I don't understand. Why do some installations crash at 80 % and some at 97 %. It doesn't make any sence. In the task manager window it says about 500 MB of free space. Also I doubt that the game would use 4 GB of memory as it wouldn't even load. If I use 64 bit ksp, would that mean that the RAM usage would drop? Thanks in advance. -

My game crashes randomly every time. At firsth it didn't generate a report but now it does. Unity Player [version: Unity 4.6.4f1_99f88340878d] KSP.exe caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005) in module KSP.exe at 0023:00cd1502. Error occurred at 2015-08-18_150118. D:\Kerbal Space Program\Kerbal Space Program Orion\KSP.exe, run by Luka. 87% memory in use. 4095 MB physical memory [511 MB free]. 0 MB paging file [963 MB free]. 0 MB user address space [76 MB free]. Write to location 00000000 caused an access violation. Don't know what is it but im sure it's not the memory. It says 87 % of memory in use. I'm playing on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. -
No. It didn't help. I Also notice that the textures on the parts from infernal roboticks model rework are glowing yellow.

Yeah. If you have at least an entry PC then you won't get any improvement. I have an old computer that I got for 160 €. At firsth I had only 2 GB of RAM and I'm quite suprized on how good the game was running. Now I bought another 2 GB RAM card and it works pretty good. I have all hopes on the U5 update. Some people freak out when I tell them wich mods I use. The processor is nothing special either. Just an old Intel core duo 2.2 GHz. I don't know if my graphic card is good or not but it's a Radeon 4600. I'm planing on buying a new computer for about 450 €. -

I think that we will have to wait for some time becaus the developers will have to come up with a solution how to preserve a ton of memory. -

I'm just reading a book The Martian and I started to think about sending a mission to duna with inflatable habitats. The problem is there are half sphear modules. I don't want to annoy you but I would really want to have small medium and large inflatable baloon like habitats. Also if you would add the popup tents, that would be grait.

When I use d3d11 I get the menus in the editors cut into pises.

It looks good. I don't think I like that the sky around the sun is always red. The city lights are defenitly better but when you get close the texture is verry pixilated. The clouds are grait. Don't know why this mod uses so much memory. The frames in flight are crawling. I hope I get my new computer before you relese this mod. -

Hey. Could you send me some cleaner texture for Kerbin clouds. I'm adding some more layers of clouds to it but it gets all covered verry quickly. -

KSP crashes after a few reverts or launches

My gamedata directory is at about 850 MB. The interesting part is that the game only crashes when I play career. When I launch the game for the first time it works fine for some time. After it crashes I get a report that mono.dll caused a violent... When I check the memory it shows that there is only about 2 GB of it used by the game wich as far as I know is not even close to the RAM limit. When I try to launch again it crashes when it tryes to load the main menu. If I set the resolution from full to half it works fine for some time until it crashes again. I can load the game again and play the same amount of time before it crashes. Sandbox is as far as I see not afected. My computer specifications are: OS - Windows 8.1 Pro; RAM - 4 GB; Processor - Intel core duo 2.2 GHZ; Graphic card - Radeon 4600. I'm using kerbal space program 1.0.2. -

I have to say that your ideas are amazing. This is a good idea but I think that you should wait for the version 1.0 when female kerbals will be introduced. I would add the reqirement that there has to be at least one female and one male kerbal inside the ship. For the problem of the time the kerbals need to grow up I sudgest that you add a new resource named baby kerbals (or any other name) and after a certen amount of time (about 5 years) the kerbal would appear in the free seat. Please text back.
