  6. After doing a lot of missions in modded KSP installs (RSS, RO, or just visual enhancements) I got the idea to do a Youtube series of one of these missions. The idea of this mission/series took shape after watching the movie and reading the book "The Martian". This series is about a possible future space program called "Ares" (Greek god of war - Romans called him Mars) to establish a human settlement on Mars by using KSP v 1.0.4. The install I used is regular KSP with many mods. I mixed current, proven tech and missions with near-future, or even proposed technology that didn't make it into prodoction. As the recording progresses, I got the hang of using the camera tools and video editor. Therefore, I personally think the first parts are a bit 'basic'. Anyway, I hope you enjoy watching it.   7. Hi Captain Sierra, so those buildings have the right looks for level 1? I thought there where barn-like buildings for level 1?
  8. This would be a great addition! Maybe some weird shaped ones as well (like the ESA Rosetta spacecraft found out the last couple of months in the 67P Comet), which would give extra challenges about center of gravity. Great mod btw!
  9. For me, at this point, it's the best SIM I've ever played. I always wanted to work for a space agency... now I have my own Since it's still erly access I hope squad will implement/adopt a few good mods in official release.
  10. Heard often about Astroids in KSP, but are there comets as well (with eccentric orbits, compered to elliptical orbits of astroids). Maybe a MOD?
  11. I run the game in OpenGL mode (edit shortcut to the game, add the following in the target field: ".....KSP.exe" -force-opengl With opengl I can run a lot more mods without using Active Texture Management or any other RAM saving mods.
  12. Also run B9 for some time now, but only for parts. Great mod to use. To save RAM you can delete parts you don't need.
