  1. The torodial tank is great, and I hope SQUAD goes back on this and decides to instead repurpose the Oscar. Although, what would be even better would be an entire line of torodial tanks, for LFO, Monoprop, EC, and Xenon. The torodial form factor is great and I can't imagine good-looking probes without it.
  2. Piloted by Snoop Kerman, of course.
  3. You look like you are interested in weaponized craft. Would you like to join Kerbal Military Engineering? They make warships using BDArmory. I'm sure Kerdinand would love to have you-we don't have many SSTOs.
  4. Honestly, I think this one is probably the best looking. The other ones are kind of rough, but this one is just so smooooth...
  5. A vote would be cool. Sal said this was an extension of the TOTMs, so I'm assuming once a month (It also says it in the title)
  6. Revan, I think you should remember that there are considerations other then what you think is "good." It might be the part count (Yours has four times the part count of Rune's) or maybe some other consideration.
  7. As luck would have it Whackjob, strangely there's a challenge up from just a few days ago to do exactly what you're going to do.
  8. Randall Munroe did a "What If" entry on this. It only deals with rotating at 10% of the speed of light, though. The consequences are still pretty extreme.
  9. You. Made. A. Space. OBOE. You are amazing.
  10. This shows up for me, but I have every graphic setting turned down all the way (and I still run at 15 FPS on the main menu:() so that's what I always attributed it to. KSP was never that focused on graphics anyway (though the game still looks beautiful).
  11. Shuttles: Speeding Mullet's Micro Shuttle (Makes it to 1Mm orbit, and 77 parts) SSTO: Rune's White Dart. <70 parts, four different versions, and more than enough dV for Minmus landing if you have a fuel station in orbit. And looks friggin amazing. Station pack: Probably Rune's ring station Base Pack: Rune's Base-In-Box, mainly since it's one of two on the forums and Temstar's takes an insane amount of launches. You can tell I like Rune's stuff - - - Updated - - - Also, in case anyone hasn't seen it, here is a link to Speeding Mullet's craft page; the Micro Shuttle is on there about 3/4 of the way down.
  12. Pecan, aside from reputation and respect in a relatively small Internet community, you don't seem to be receiving tangible benefits in any way from putting your guide(s) up on the forums. As long as you don't try to take credit for the game itself or claim to be sanctioned by SQUAD, I don't see any problems with you giving away copies of a PDF. Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer, so you can more or less take this with a grain of salt.
  13. I always have gone with the explanation that kOS gives: Kerbalese is spoken completely differently from English, but is written the same.
  14. It would be cool to have a sort of "starter pack." Easy-to-fly, relatively low part count ships from each category. (Stuff like Rune's White Dart Series or Speeding Mullet's Micro Shuttle.) Then something more like a "Showcase Pack," just to show off some of the stuff that the community builds. (Stuff like zekes' shuttle, inigma's shuttle and assorted bits, Rune's Eagle, Overfloater's planes, maybe Wanderfound's gigantic collection, Rune's Base-In-A-Box, that sort of thing.)
  15. I seem to remember DasValdez saying that a Kerbal's normal impact tolerance is 40 m/s. This was tested with a face first impact into a Jumbo-64. Testing was conducted in orbit.
  16. Option one for me too. That may have something to do with how Steam crashes as soon as I try option 3...
  17. Same as Hobbez, craft file please! Also, how many parts, and how much dV does it have?
  18. Do whatever you want, this game is whatever you want it to be. Start out with Scott Manley's first tutorial. You can fly unmanned vessels, but you'll need a probe core (same place as the capsules, under "Command" and some form of power generation (under "Utility").
  19. Well, it also causes parts to become completely unbreakable. In other words, don't do impact testing with this on. - - - Updated - - - Okay, actually, after looking at your rep and post count, I'm not really sure if you're being serious or not. - - - Updated - - - And now after looking at this thread, I'm pretty sure you were being serious. I've never been that great at gauging other people's intentions, and text-based communication just makes it harder
