I had some 5m pods I was working on for use with RO. I actually just started one for stock that uses the Sr. docking port up top, if you're still looking for one. Should be done soon.

Yeah, I guess that space station just wanted to retire. It exploded again after swapping out the .cfg file. Trying to mess with the other values to get the sunflare without all of the lines and other stuff on Earth. Probably not gonna work, but I'm bored anyway. Ah, that AtmosphereFromGround is in the Kopernicus config. -

I'm still using RO/RSS. Thanks for that answer though, I updated RSS and it overwrote the config file from RVE. Dropped that back in there and it's good to go! Edit: I take that good to go part back. The flare was there, but colors started going crazy, those old scatterer lines were appearing and everything started exploding. It was a real mess out there. RIP space station. (Not a bug report or complaining. WIP and all) -

Is it possible to keep just the sun flare? I removed RVE for now but wouldn't mind keeping the sun. Can't find exactly which files I should keep, aside from the .assets file. -
Hey CrisK, in your configs the TLV_Decoupler_B is named as ALV_Decoupler_A in the part.cfg

Mine was doing that and changing the root part solved it. I have tweakscale installed though, not sure if you do.

Hey, curtquarquesso, I was using those craft files for Mir and I couldn't get Kvant-1 to dock on the correct docking port for anything. It docked just fine on the docking hub of the core module though. After I went into the VAB I noticed that all of the values for the bottom port on the core module were set to 0 (forces, etc). I'm guessing that's what the problem was, going to relaunch it now. Thought you'd like to know. Love all these craft files you've made, by the way. Edit: Yeah, that fixed it.

Yeah I remember that being a thing. Turns out it was only the Almach chute when I was making Vostok (the partdatabase thing still didn't fix that one). The others are all working well enough though. Oh well, now it's time to build a new space station and enjoy this fine mod. Also, I've got some free time now and this modding stuff looks like it might be fun. So I might not be all the way done bugging all you guys.

Do the Tantares chutes still work for you when you use the 1.0 physics? I've been hitting the ground hard enough to explode using those physics. lol just having all kinds of problems over here today. Ah, just read your (Beale) posts about the chutes over in the add-on dev threads. Seems to be quite a pain.

I saw a few pages back that this was supposed to be working with FAR. Are the configs just not out for it yet? Having a hell of a time trying to launch a Soyuz rocket. Anyway, awesome work as usual and thanks for this great mod! Edit: I may just be awful at flying rockets but the Soyuz was tricky in stock too.

Is it normal for a craft to disappear if you save the game while it's lifted off the ground by a crane? I was moving around some stuff (MKS part, to be specific) on one of my bases with a crane and I guess I forgot to lower something all the way to the ground. When I came back to my save, the crane is there, but the MKS part is gone. Didn't know I wasn't supposed to do that! Oops. -
I did a mission with 3 kerbals to up their XP. They returned safely, I saved and went to bed. I open KSP back up today and only 2 of the kerbals are showing, the scientist isn't listed anywhere and the other 2 kerbals do show their increased XP from the mission. I looked in my save .cfg and his name is actually listed as planting a flag during the mission, but that is the ONLY place his name is mentioned in the .cfg file. Not sure where to go from here. After searching the forums, the only other time people have mentioned this is after trying to move old saves over to a new version. This is a new save. Update: So I had Jeb, Bob and Bill in my space station and went to rotate them out with a new crew. All 3 were brought back to Kerbin. I even did an EVA on Kerbin with Bob just to see if I could get some extra science. He got the science and I recovered vessel. Enter the astronaut complex and sure enough, he is listed as being on the station still, and not as available. Guess I'll just go hack this save file to pieces until it breaks all the way or gets fixed.

Ah, I turned that off, loaded back up and the lines were gone. Went to look from orbit and got crazy shapes and lines. Went back to KSC and the lines were back there as well. Can't wait until I can really use this, it looked amazing there for about 5 seconds. I'm not able to pull up the settings for this in Linux, correct?

I'm having an issue with the "orbit" part of the Launch A Kerbin Station contract. All of the criteria is met, but it's not completing the orbit part. My station is at 250km, is that too high? I've tried completing it with the debug menu, but the same contract just keeps popping up. Edit: I also have the Minmus and Mun station contracts. They show altitudes, but the Kerbin station isn't showing one for me. Edit #2: So after reading the config, I see the max is 249km. I was so close!

Crazy thing about my install, the performance is almost unplayable unless I MAX all the graphics settings, then it runs super smooth. I'm not gonna argue with it, though.

Not sure if something was wrong on my end, but the Almach Return chute isn't slowing me down enough to even land in water.

I'm having a problem using the DragonRider capsule. The superdraco engines make it spin wildly out of control, even if throttled way down. I am using Realism Overhaul if that makes a difference. Sorry if this is the wrong thread to post this in, I've searched both threads but found nothing. Beautiful parts, by the way.

I'm playing on 64k, so I'm guessing those orbits aren't ideal for my game. Has anyone else edited the configs to make the contracts better for the larger bodies? Or even just a rough guess at what a good orbit would be. I've never actually used SCANsat so I have no idea. Thanks! -

Just wanted to say this mod looks awesome and I can't wait until it's up and running. I've started a new install and I'm trying to only use Tantares and TantaresLV parts on it, aside from maybe a science mod. Oh, and 64k, FAR, RemoteTech, ScanSat, TAC Life Support. Trying to do the whole Russian program. Anyway, this mod looks like it fits perfectly. Now I'll have to make 2 new installs, one for each agency. Keep up the good work! -
I saw that someone else was having issues using Active Texture Management with 64k, is there any way to use them together? I don't use many extra mods but I guess it's still enough to need ATM. KSP boots fine without it, but crashes soon. If ATM and 64k are both installed it always crashes on load at joollayers2.png I've done some reading and maybe I just need to to use DDS.

I finally made my first trip to other planets. Proud of that. Anyway, I did an orbit around Eve, collected some science, then went to Moho. I collected some more science there and was about to crash it to end the mission in a blaze of glory. This was a probe... so I thought. I look in the corner and sure enough, there's Jeb having a hell of a time. This trip took a lot of fuel, so there's no getting him back to Kerbin. I can't leave my top pilot out there. Rescue mission it is. Moral of the story: Always check the crew before you launch. I tried to make the best of it and do an EVA. Jeb flew off the ladder and tore the solar panels off.
