I meant I wanted to fly a helicopter in real life. Real life doesn't receive updates, that's why our world is so screwed up right now. HarvesteR shall return, however he will raise the price of KSP to $60, make planets besides Kerbin and Mun DLC only, and focus all the new updates on improving terrain scatter and adding new names for Kerbals. Now corrupt my wish again, and don't forget the context this time, dammit!

Granted, but the next update features both an aerodynamic and engine overhaul, making the current standards and methods for building SSTOs obsolete. I wish I could fly a helicopter.

Starship USS Kelvin NCC-0514
pTrevTrevs replied to Gman_builder's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Did someone say impulse engine? You mean like a mod that adds an engine with the statistics and capabilities of one or just a subassembly of stock parts made to look like one? A Star Trek engines pack would be really cool and useful. -

Yeah, but not as big as some Starfleet vessels, and I always thought it looked a little quirky. The upside to these things though it that it would be easier to build and it stands a closer chance of being made to exact scale. But on the other hand the Stargazer was Picard's first command, and I couldn't even name a ship in the Miranda series that did anything noteworthy at this time. -

Before long the battle cry is more likely to be "Strength is irrelevant, resistance is futile. We are Borg" -

Next-gen graphics, amirite? Seriously though, after seeing that Excelsior class, I sort of want to try my hand at building my own Star Trek ships. I bet the Constellation class (USS Stargazer) wouldn't be too hard, nor would a Miranda class. Too bad I have too many projects going on right now to take on one of these giants. I remember you saying that Kerbals would be able to go to some parts of the ship, are you planning on making a functional hangar bay with shuttles as well? -

Would you happen to have a link available or shall I go hunting myself? I need to see what he's done to my beloved Galaxy! EDIT: I think I found the Ambassador, and I think I have to agree that it is pretty poorly done. -
Me too @legoclone09

Yeah! thirty seconds later and I would have been offline for the night! @sal_vager

The ever downhill roller coaster that is 2016 takes yet another sharp dip.

What you want is of no importance to me. @Columbia, kommen sie hier bitte.

Man, this has so much potential if you can figure out a way to connect segments. Imagine extensive railway networks of the Mun, or a line connecting the KSC to the Island runway. Now make this for it:

Need help finding Macey Dean ships.
pTrevTrevs replied to daniel l.'s topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
After looking at those pictures I realize just how far KSP building techniques have comes since the original was made. This is obviously a modern reproduction, but it was built using Macey's design and techniques, many of which are nearly obsolete. Today Macey could have used cargo bays for the hangar, Vectors for the main engines (since it's such an OP engine), and many of the new parts to aesthetically improve the entire thing. -

Wouldn't the shift to Porkjet wings have changed it a little bit? Good thing somebody is stepping up to maintain his craft, I would say Macey's series is one of the biggest reasons I bought KSP in the first place. I sure hope he starts making videos on a regular basis again. -
.....kek wills it?

Little did he know, the Red Baron was to make a surprise appearance at Midway. He returned from the grave to fight in his nation's ally's air war or something. I don't know... @legoclone09!

Rabbit Man has not made a prediction on his second post, so I guess that makes him wrong by default. @Columbia

@Gman_builder I think SSRSS only changes Scaterrer's ocean settings so the waves are higher and foamier. The downside is that the troughs of the waves are below the physical water level, so ships will sometimes appear to float above water. -

Das Reboot close to the Danish coast, bouncing its way home to Wilhelmshaven after a patrol early in the war. I took these images in my SSRSS install so I could really test in in the North Sea and the Baltic, although all the other mods I'm running really slowed it down, and the rougher waves made taking good screenshots difficult. Goodbye, Piccadilly, farewell Leicester Square, it's a long, long way to Tipperary, but my heart's right there... I also redesigned the "greenhouse" part of the conning tower and the flak gun, the antenna design adds more parts, but looks much better than struts and can actually prevent Kerbals from falling over the edge. They also don't do weird things when you press CTRL+Z. Issues still to be solved Fix hatches to the deck. I have yet to walk a Kerbal along the deck or stand one on the conning tower because the command pods are being a little finicky and won't let me do EVAs from them. Speed is hit and miss. I've gotten it up to 8 or 9 m/s before, but sometimes it refuses to go over 1.5. Deck gun? A lot of boats had their deck guns removed, especially during the second half of the war, because with the advent of radar and armed merchants it did little but weigh the boat down and make it louder underwater. I know I'm going for a representation of a U-boat during the Happy Times of 1940-1941, but I'm still in debate over whether to add a gun. Fix underwater shaders to allow good screenshots of the boat submerged. I may need to uninstall Scatter for this to work, I suspect it's causing the problem. -
Nope, haven't even started. I've got too many other KSP projects going on at this point in time.

Granted, you learn enough algebra to help you pass a ground level course, but at the expense of losing any knowledge you had about everything else. Your name, your hobbies, your memories, all gone. I wish I lived in Middle Earth.

Trev's Quality Craft Repository
pTrevTrevs replied to pTrevTrevs's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
I already have a Fairey Swordfish, but it doesn't have its own thread. I'll take a look at the other planes, although the sheer size of the ANT-20 will possibly make it difficult to do. EDIT: Here's the Swordfish I have now. I believe it requires BD armory to run, but its torpedo can really mess up a stock ship. DOWNLOAD -
I find your summoning skills... lacking. @Columbia, come.
