  1. Sorry to repeat my post but I think it may have been buried by the argument above and missed. I really enjoy the new textures and models but they are unusable for me at the moment due to the fairings . I would appreciate any help
  2. How exactly would I go about removing the fairings? For some reason they don't decouple for me and I use Procedural Fairings anyway. I looked through the ModuleManager config and only found this: { name = ModuleJettison jettisonName = fairing bottomNodeName = bottom isFairing = False jettisonedObjectMass = 0.1 jettisonForce = 5 jettisonDirection = 0 0 1 } Removing it doesn't seem to remove the fairings and the line is not present for every engine although it shows up on each one in game. Great mod by the way, made using stock parts bearable as they used to look hideous Regards, James
  3. Hi, I've been getting an issue that was brought up earlier in the thread with staging. When I press spacebar it only activates one section of a stage. The problem is fixed when I remove KerbalJointReinforcement although it may not be the cause of the issue but might trigger it. This came out of nowhere, I haven't installed any mods recently and when I went to launch today it occured. Here is my output log: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4rk1czkr74f5bnx/output_log.txt?dl=0 Running .25 32 bit (waiting for certain mods to be updated before I go to .90) Here are my mods (says I don't have permission to insert images?) http://i.imgur.com/oSMKa5I.png I'd appreciate any help, the game is unplayable without the mod (works wonders) but it's also nearly unplayable with it/ or the conflicting mod causing it. EDIT: I seem to have missed several replies on an earlier page about this. Sorry for restating what has been said. I will make a clean install and try to narrow down the conflicting mods. EDIT2: I think I narrowed it down not to a specific mod, but a part in my case. I created a rocket like so: Taurus HCV XT2 Solar Panel Array mk2 Procedural FuelTank Fairing Base Ring (Procedural Fairing part) Procedural Stack Decoupler Procedural Fuel Tank (13 m Diameter, 32 m Length) Launch Clamps 5 F-1 (Realism Overhaul version of the "new" 3.5m stock engine) Total weight: 3,404,671 kg (some users, including myself, only encounter this on large rockets such as 1000+ tons) I first tested the rocket with only a probe on top and successfully launched and decoupled the launch clamps as normal. I went back an added a subassembly of a pod with the parts listed above and attempted another launch. Launch clamps came off 1 at a time. I then removed parts one by one until the problem was fixed and it happened to be the Procedural Fairing Base. I will do more testing and see if there are any other conflicting parts or try to determine what triggers this. This testing was all done with the mods in the pic above. EDIT3: After more testing, removing the fairing base ring always fixes the issue. One thing worth noting though is I am placing the capsule through the subassembly menu when the launch clamps fail. I removed the base and added a new one and it seemed to work. Anyone else having this issue also using procedural fairing bases or subassemblies when encountering this? Regards, James
  4. Yeah I was getting 12-15 crashes a day before I installed ActiveTextureManagement. After that I could play with maybe 1 crash a day. I'm trying to figure out what changed that in a couple hours. Perhaps installing the aggressive version of ActiveTextureManagement?
  5. Hi, I've been getting a lot of crashes in KSP 0.25 32 bit which ended up being due to memory constraints. I installed Active Texture Management and reduced the texture size of Real Solar System and I was crash free until today. I left the house for several hours with KSP running and when I returned I attempted to launch a rocket and it crashed. Opened the game up again and another crash. I tried restarting my computer, monitoring the RAM usage, and checking the logs myself but I didn't see any clear indication of the game using too much RAM (sitting around 3.3gb during flight) I did not change anything between when it was working and these constant crashes. Here is my output.txt: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4rk1czkr74f5bnx/output_log.txt?dl=0 List of mods/files in GameData (all up to date for .25, just downloaded all of them 2 days prior to .90 release) 000_Toolbar 000_USITools ActiveTextureManagement AdvancedAnimator AIES_Aerospace ASET BahaSP BoulderCo CIT ConnectedLivingSpace CustomAsteroids CustomBiomes DarkMultiplayer DDSLoader DeadlyReentry FerramAerospaceResearch Firespitter FirstPersonEVA FreedomTex FusTek HexCans HullCameraVDS JSI KAS KerbalEngineer KerbalJointReinforcement KWRocketry ModuleRCSFX NASAMission NavBallDockingAlignmentIndicator NBody NEBULA ORSX Pixelatedblackshades PlanetShine PotatoChips PreciseNode ProceduralFairings ProceduralParts R&SCapsuledyne RealChute RealFuels RealismOverhaul RealSolarSystem RemoteTech RSSTextures (lowest res.) Adding -force-opengl removes all my mods (probably something I'm doing wrong here) Also, I did not try this in a clean game install as that would fix the crash problem most likely as I'm almost certain this is still due to RAM issues. I believe that covers all the info requested of me per the sticky, if there is anything else needed for me to do/info to provide I'd be happy to do so. Regards, James
  6. Sorry about that I should have been more specific . When launching a vehicle that has a part from Procedural Parts or using Realism Overhaul I get a message at the top saying that the Procedural Liquid Fuel Tank is banned as well as "RO.gx256" and the ship will not be saved. I just tried again to get a screenshot and a log for you and it appears to be working now. I will follow up on this if the problem comes back (unless you'd like me to try to reproduce it now to fix a potential issue), perhaps I can ask in the Realism Overhaul thread about that file. Thank you for the assistance!
  7. Fantastic mod, works flawlessly on stock and with many mods. One issue I have been having though is I get an error about Procedural Parts and Realism Overhaul. I've searched for solutions to the issue in each mods thread and here as well but have found nothing. I tried to add the parts to the DMPModControl.txt and that didn't fix it either. Once again, thank you so much for making this it has brought many hours of entertainment to me and my brother and I would appreciate any assistance fixing this small issue. If you need any more info from me feel free to ask (logs, mod list, etc.) Regards, James
