  1. Vectors and Scalars I just thought I would share my class notes. I have been taking them for a while and will keep posting them for people who would like them! Please no comments calling anyone stupid, we are all trying to learn, so share knowledge instead of calling each other stupid. I'll keep posting sections from 1D Motion and eventually will post some stuff from 2D Motion and Forces.

  3. I would be interested in helping with something. I started my Duna Direc project last year and I have put it to rest a little bit. If you had any interest in that. But if you already had something in mind, that's totally fine as well. Really I just want to get behind a good project and help make something cool. I am pretty good with modeling, not so much texturing but I can do a little bit.   5. This is an excellent mod and I love the fact that they are stock alike.
  6. My main concern is texturing. I can produce some pretty solid models but they're really no good if they don't have a decent texture.h I want to learn so I don't want it done for me. Email me if you're interested!
  7. No, I am still working on this mod. As I have said... Help would be great, as this is my first project. I will update the thread with some updated screenshots and such!
  8. Yeah we really should collaborate in this project! I recently have upgraded my PC and bought Photoshop so I can work all the time. If you would like any help on your current project to speed things along I will gladly assist you.

  10. I have been working on that, and I have my UV's but its just trying to get the textures captured from the stock parts and apply them to my model. I dont want anyone to do it for me because I need to learn... I just need some help is all: So I can use the stamp tool in Photoshop to get the texture from the stock parts to my parts? I will try to just experiment a bit in PS and let you guys know what progress I make. I am however struggling with creating UVs for advanced models with LOTS of geometry... So tips on that are much needed, otherwise I just plan on restarting the model and texturing it before I make it too advanced.
  11. Hey everyone! I am just going to post a quick update for the mods development. I am still working on it but I REALLY need help with texturing. I want to make it stocklike but I am struggling to duplicate the design. Any suggestions or tips would be MUCH appreciated!

To answer some of your questions and to give so reassurance, I have compiled a Q&A: Q: How will the fuel generation systems as described in the Mars Direct plan work? A: I do not currently have plans for this system however it WILL be implemented. Kethane obviously would be a great temporary option... However because the Oxygen and Hydrogen is derived from the atmosphere rather than the ground... I most likely will develop my own plugin for generating fuel on the surface of Duna Q: What Diameter is the HAB going to be? A: At the moment it is 3.5m It will most likely be made larger in the future. Also regarding the idea of having the HAB as two separate parts... This is a great idea and I would like to implement it in the future however the HAB currently is one model... So i would be stepping backward if i were to do this unfortunately. Q: How does the ERV re enter? As a lifting body or as a classical blunt body? A: The "KRV" or Kerbin Return Vehicle is a Blunt body when it enters Duna's atmosphere... however the Capsule which rides on top of the KRV Service Section, is a lifting body when re enters the Kerbin Atmosphere.   21. Thank you for the suggestions! I didn't want to add any weapons to the base craft, because some people may not want to run BDArmory with the craft. I suppose I could just include it in the download without the option...? I am constantly in the game tweaking the plane to make it better, so ill go in and see what i can do.
