  1. i had heard that when 1.1.3 dropped we might get metalic reflections via the unity 5.3.4 PBR shaders, are we able to use the shaders?
  2. i heard romours that we might be able to use the generic shaders in unity to get metalic reflections and the like? is this possible? it would help alot as they allow for much more versatility in a singe shader and look very good
  3. thabks for the info, post exams ill get to it, this is still tecnically a 1.0.5 mod so its lucky it aint worse, dont know how to use git hub really but ill look into it
  4. i am alive but its exams up soon so its a little low on my list, ill get round to it i promise but it might have to wait a moth or two, my prelim tests show that mst of the parts are okay but wheels are most likly busted
  5. there is a default texture in unity called "stainedbumpdistort that uses a normal map to distort, much like heat refractioon, how would i go about getting this shader to work in ksp? how can i load it? would it oload anyway?

  8. im trying to write my textures from unity but it wont work, ive got a phantom shader preventing it, its not on any meshes as far as i can see but i cant seem to remove it, any ideas?

  10. ver: ksp 1.1 official release x64 error log: output log situation: any game scene: if laptop screen is closed game crashes, this happens also if the pc is put to sleep, and if the pc lid is closed without sleeping, no other ptograms affected
  11. ksp 1.1 x64 keeps crashing when i close my laptop (and done put it to sleep) and when i put it to sleep, this happens without fail
  12. the wheels are really annoying, yes its nice to have all the stuff but the whole wheelblocked:yes thing is a pain in the poophole, and im sure i remember them saying that we would be able to turn up the torque so you could have faster wheels, and they over stress too easilly and indestructible parts does not apply to over stressing, i feel as if quite alot of the fun of the wheels has been lost
  13. bda works in 1.1 but this does not, or rather the modified bde download causes bda weapons to not load, news on a 1.1 release?
  14. the "legacy" naming is a bit stupid. makes it sound like its 0.23 and so not compatable
  15. according to the stream this is the case, this causes pauses when splitting large stages and probably when joining them too, but atleast there is low lag till then
  16. coppy the whole file reference from the top of the location you wanty to go and paste it in the box
  17. with 1.1 on the horizon i find it slightly concerning that we A) haven't had a new part tools since 0.24 at least, B) the official ling to the website AND the latter dropbox link are both dead. and C) there has been no mention of a part tools compatible with unity 5, which from my testing it isnt. so where is it? and whats the news on the compatibility?

Hi, I with a couple of others are developing a space station simulator game with the same visual style as ksp, rendered in unreal engine 4 (we have an example of the ksp shuttle in the environment and a pod of our own construction also) but the problem is this, we have one textuer/modeler that works on his own models (the example pod is his) and then there is me, Im a modeller and absolutely pants at getting even close to the style e desire from the textur, so we are looking for a dedicated texturer to work with our team of 4 so we can maintain the style and hopefully boost productivity, should the game ever make it through dev there will of corse be a div of the money made but we would hope this would not be a primary concern!
  19. erm its all tock wings, the entire structure. ive had no issue when using them before
  20. ive got a werid one... ive used this mod alot but never had thi. i am making a halp pelican and attempting to weld the body, the wings and the rear engine pods but the body is presenting some dificulty. all the parts are positioned correctly but it buggs oyut on loading... it spins randomly blows up the launchgpad and sometimes breads the speed of light exiting the system... any ideas how to fix? ive attempted to remover al massless parts... it is only 355 parts

  22. if its a part mod it should theoretically just be a case of plugging through U5 anfd applying the cnfig changes

    hi im a modder with quite a few mods that are going defunkt with the next update, i would love to get the headstart on redeving them for 1.1 but i do not own the game on steam. y mods include the martian rover, the space x lander barge, kerbal cities pack and i am the current developer for retrofuture. thanks for any hep you can he in getting the mods ready earlier.
