There's a lot of converter programs out there. I regularly use PDF 24 (https://en.pdf24.org/), works like a charm. As for arranging all the chapters and text and everything, I suppose you could use Scribus (https://www.scribus.net/) to do that, it's an open source publishing software, similar to Adobe InDesign.

Clauselle simply knows how to enjoy life. I think I see Camembert, Chevre Chaud, Brie and some kind of Bleu. I do hope she's cracking open a good millésime de hydrazine, though.

It probably is small comfort for you, but I'm sure everyone in this forum is whishing you the best. I know I am. I can't tell you how much I enjoy reading your Saga, and if it were a book, it would definitely get a place in my all times favourite shelf.

Haha..."seasons". Well, after all this is Herbal Spice Program, right?

Periodic inability to click parts in VAB
Flow replied to KocLobster's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Hi @KocLobster, I know this thread is a little aged already, but I experience the exact same issue. I don't know if you've found a solution already, but just in case you haven't I took a look at the mods you posted and here list all the mods we both have to maybe help narrow down the possible cause. What sometimes works for me is switching to part offset with the keyboard, then clicking somewhere on the screen, and then switching back to part placing and try to select the part. -
[1.12.x] Kerbal Atomics: fancy nuclear engines! (August 18, 2024)
Flow replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I'm rather early in the tech tree in my current playthrough and I thought I'd give this mod a try. I wanted to design some rather large interplanetary probes with the ISP-advantage of a nuclear engine. However, with the early nuclear engines (stock NERV and two engines from Stock Extension) I had to build such preposterously large tugs for the probes to get more dV than with efficient stock LF/Ox engines on a vessel with the same weight that I ended up deleting the patch files for Squad and SXT. In my opinion these low-tech engines, with their relatively small ISP compared to the engines in this pack, are close to impractical with the LH patch. -
Or maybe use DMagic's EVA Resource Transfer? I haven't checked it out yet, but I guess for those who don't want the whole Pathfinder package it could be an option.

Reading all those weird weather reports made me kind of glad I'm living in central Europe. We do have the occasional thunderstorms (and snowstorms in winter) but nothing as drastic as what you guys are describing.
-
Haha, in addition to looking weird it also is really funny The ending"-lein" is the German way to express a diminutive. "Kein" means "not". So Keinlein would be "the little Not".

I can just imagine how Sandwich Guy's job interview must have went. Mort: "Well, since your letter of application didn't mention any, what exactly are your qualifications, aside from holding a sandwich in your hands?" Gene: "Wait a second, that guy's holding a sandwich!? Hired! You're exactly what we've been looking for!"

Thank you for this detailed explanation, @Kuzzter. Still, I think that no Author should have to explain all of a story's little twists and turns, as long as it's not something unreasonably illogical. Especially if this story takes place in its own, well-defined and delimited universe with its very own natural laws and physical constants Edit: It's something like the XP rating on INSULTINGLY STUPID MOVIE PHYSICS

The Kerbiverse isn't actually physically accurate (from a RL point of view) in a lot of things, including relativistic time delay, n-body problems or the size of planets and stars. What if the kerbal laws of nature are such that Kuzzter's story is completely plausible?
