You could use RCS or vernors to replicate guns... If you use vernors it's like the guns have recoil and slow the plane a bit

Ok I think I perfected this so now I'm putting it up here. It's a compact ejection seat that looks like a first-class airline plushy recliner/seat. Original name is getting old though, need a new one... DOWNLOAD as subassembly. Action groups/info: It's not set to anything. There is –1 decoupler –1 parachute –2x2 rockets. You may want to adjust the parachute's altitude setting. Depending on the plane, you may also want to stage the parachute after launching the seat off rather than simultaneously. 18 parts (I think) Being a first-class luxury item, it's rather expensive (for a chair) at 43 000. To put that in perspective, round about the same as an Aeris 4a.

BD Armory 0.9.0 is fun Performance is a bit worse - 20mm cannon with ammo - 4x AIM-120 - 2x sidewinders - 4x small JDAMs - 2x cruise missiles - chaff & flares - the new fancy electronic thingiesâ€â€makes the nose look more F-35ish:) Not sure if this is a legit loadout but it seems right... - - - Updated - - - Oh dear BD 0.9.2 came out...ah well should still work... maybe

Uhh, feel a bit dumb asking this but the jet engine exhaust damages the fan-thingies right?...so do you lag a lot when you press F3?

Added instructions in OP I just set the receiving plane to fly dead straight to the claw then switch to the tanker before it connects, and use RCS translation controls to shift the claw boom as neccessary. It's a F35 that I haven't got round to releasing yet I did have a F22 but it kinda got trashed by 1.0.3/4

KC-30A prototype complete... and TA-DA!!! :D But pretty hard to control once it's docked, it would help greatly if it was possible to control each plane independently while they're connected. Edit: anyone know of a mod which can do this?
