  1. I like the fairings, easy enough to use without too much mucking about. Though I did have an issue on one of my craft that involved broken solar panels every time I ejected the fairing above the atmosphere. Bad design on my part probably, it was a very wide fairing. Shaped like an upside down wok.
  2. I found "Radial Engine Mounts by PanaTee Parts International" to be very useful. I'm not affiliated with them at all, but I like the simple two part mod quite a bit.
  3. Hmmm... How about this? printNumLED(0, (long)(VData.AP/1000),0,0) or this printNumLED(0, (long)(VData.AP/1000)) Wish I could test it for you, but that's a couple of weeks away (lousy exams).
  4. Hi there I_Kill_Horses, Welcome to the forum. You are quite right about the void loop. You can find my working solution in the body of this thread somewhere or in the opening post of the thread linked in my signature below. My project is in bits at the moment, so I can't test this, but maybe try this to fix your blank problem: printNumLED(0, (long)(VData.AP/1000),0) if I'm wrong one of the skilled folks should be along to correct it Also, I think I might steal er.... borrow your idea re: the radar height cutoff;)
  5. Marzubus' version works on linux too I'd say go for the Arduino Mega. The Uno is great (as is the leonardo), but I ran out of pins fast. Even with the mega, I think I'm gong to need a couple of shift registers! My project is super slow on account of the weather not being conducive to allowing paint to dry in a reasonable amount of time, which has led to some interesting (and unwanted) patterns on my panel.
  6. You need to use your QWEASD keys to change the orientation. Its not just the GOO, but pretty much every part that I've tried.
  7. If you have an antenna inside, transmit doesn't seem to work with the doors closed.
  8. Its working properly for me on a g15. Thanks for doing what I could not! I'd love to see more development on this too. Super useful!
  9. I had a parachute overheat before being deployed yesterday. The rest of the ship was fine and the chute was on the end of the pod facing away from the ground. All the other chutes were just fine
  10. Your stations are far nicer than anything I've built! Also your accident is one I've tried to make happen, but never could. That's some great timing you had there. Even broken I like your design
  11. I'm really enjoying it, the new aero is fine (I didn't enjoy near all that much). All the new bits are great, and the load time has reduced! Can't make a cup of tea while the game loads anymore.
  12. In Career and just returned from an eyeballed flyby of the mun. Not enough cash for patched conics, so I went back to the method I learned from Lurking before I could use maneuver nodes properly. By that I mean, once you're in orbit, wait til you see the mun and burn straight for it. Works like a charm every time
  13. So what was it? I just discovered the warp to next morning button in the space center view.
  14. Yep, working for my G15, good thing I didn't go for the upgraded version. Actually, it's not showing me orbits anymore, just flight data on the first screen.
  15. I'm excited too, but have this cloud of "duties" hanging over me this week.
  16. It's just after 2am where squad is based. I imagine that it'll be released (if all goes well) some time after they have breakfast. I'll have to wait until tomorrow.
  17. Did this too, I think my .90 install may have been corrupted as contracts weren't working and I can't abide that in 1.0
  18. This game is less buggy than most other games I've played and hasn't required that I DL a multi GB patch every time I try to play. As much as I love those games (COH 1+2, FALLOUT 3 & Vegas... anything on the PS3), the updates stopped me from just playing casually. KSP's updates are infrequent and rarely take more than a couple of minutes to DL (even in Australia). I'm looking forward to the next release and was pleasantly surprised to see how fast it loaded on Maxmaps last video. No more wandering off to make a cup of tea while it loads
  19. My favourite suggestions are: Toggle-able radar altitude (would defeat the function in my custom controller) DV readout (though wasn't this already on the cards?) EVA strut placement (My main use for KAS) Alarm system (eg KAC)
  20. I've tried this myself and it was too difficult to pull off (for me anyway). My compute wouldn't handle the stations pictured in the OP, so my craft were much smaller.
  21. Busiest week of the year where I work, so I'll have to go in.
  22. Try my hardest to ignore KSP and actually do some homework.
