The concept of just landing a retro-looking rocket on the Mun has drastically inspired me. Huge idea that just came to mind. Thank you. I got a very good idea... Its something epic.

This spacecraft got showcased in the space craft of the month. Since I loved it I made this.

What Are Things You've Heard That Made You Facepalm?
ghostbuzzer7 replied to michaelsteele3's topic in The Lounge
Ohh this goes to starwhip. I constantly told him teach me how to use this blender addon. All I had to do was enable the addon to make it work I feel sad in a way I made him go through all of that pain for a simple addon enable -
Is my KSP Broken?
ghostbuzzer7 replied to Solar71's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Ferram AeroSpace completely changes the aerodynamics (obviously). So, if you were using a different plane from the one from yesterday the drag from the wings can be different. In addition, If you continue to encounter this problem there could be a problem with infin-gliding in which your aircraft wont ever slow down. Or may'be you can try aerobraking by taking bank turns. However, as far as I can comprehend from this information, it must be infin-gliding, FAR physics merging with ksp physics, or just coincidental. May I have a picture of your craft. -
We all have our stories of landing on Gilly, Moho, Eeloo but I wanted to show you guys my Delta IV (Yes derived from that rocket that isn't made for the Mun). Anyways, I wanted to show & tell my story way-y-y-yy back then when I was a big noob. So I found the craft and took it for a flight. So now after seeing my successful launch that I with only 20 monopropellant left in the tank, show & tell your adventure to the Mun. Im sure it will be great to hear. You can choose to download this craft if you want it to @ https://www.dropbox.com/s/dpnnipir0f4pua8/Delta%20IV%20Heavy%20Manned%20V3.craft?dl=0 Mini-challenge: Download the Delta-iv and post a picture of how much monopropellant you have left in your tank. It will be cool to see.

AeroSpace XM-19 Bomber VTOL In Flight Photos: The bomber is equipped with four .6 ton bombs equivalent to 1/2 the power output of a thermonuclear bomb. It launches unguided bombs with no thrust. Ideally, drop the bombs with a vertical speed of 5 or less. It provides near dead accuracy with it's ejection manifolds. Its fastest over land speed is around 130 meters per second. Simple yet complex design allows for stable flight while VTOL engine provides enough lift to add four more bombs During takeoff, it is recommended you tip your aircraft at an inclination of 15 degrees to prevent lateral speed from occurring until your reach your designated altitude. VAB, say hello to my little friend, it's called BOMBS *AKA FUEL TANKS* Release the bombs and watch the VAB burn in an enormous bonfire. Moments after the bombing the VAB stood, but Jeb took no such loss, he went out with a blazing fireball of glory. There is a story but no story to be told from the man. (No story at all)?!?!
-
Well technically, the ISS is within a very thin layer of atmosphere, hence them using over 100 tons of fuel annually because they need to stay in orbit. But why you may say, eventually enough atoms of atmosphere will gradually slow the ISS down. That being said, the sound you may be hearing is either from the GoPro due to its case. The astronaut probably added the protective case while inside the ISS and oxygen is trapped inside there. Another possible explanation, is that the thin layer of atmosphere has a very rare tendency to transfer sound waves, hence us hearing it. Anyways amazing video, the beauty of Earth cannot match my Kerbal Space Station even with the Environmental Enhancements Mod.

Banned for overuse of part clipping and infingliding.
