the only problem with this is tat while thrust scale linelarly on a ion thruster the power consuption scale expnentially.

They dont release them, but when it go's into experimentals it usually means that its aboult a week away.

I think that they should have their temp tollerance so low that even with a reasonably sized heatsheild that should still nort be able to survive re-entry (If you you have some massive 3.75 metre heatsheild on your mothership you can areobrake and keep your landers intact).

I really hate how you cant attach another part on top of the 2.5 metre lander can with it looking good.

Space engieneers has totally nailed the modding ui squad should add something like this execpt on a per-save basis

I still think squad and NASA were working together from the very begining of KSP so they could train future employes.

Extra room on all missions with kerbals. Kerbals must be able to talk to mission control (Antenna). No RTGs on long term manned launches (I have them on my crew shuttle but they are as far away as possible from the kerbals+the crew are only in it for less that a day.

I like the idea of being really tight on funds and having to strap a few ion-sats to a mk1 pod to do some contracts or something. I think that maybe we could have it so satilites could only be moved for a cost.

I discovered that if you take the mk1-2 command pod and place a flat adapter on the bottom for a heatsheild you can hide it using the offset tool underneath a rokomax brand decoupler and you get a clean seperation

Cool, but do you really need the large ASAS unit- mk55 radials have a TON of gimbal

I think having an oxygen gas giant would be cool where after a point too deep in the atmosphere you will be crushed so you could fly planes in it but beware of being crushed!

STS boosters had something like 5degrees of gimbal too- it's perfectly reasonable to have gimbaled SRBs - - - Updated - - - You could call a 2.5 meter high gimbal engine the tiller to keep with the sailing theme

We've only seen eve and kerbin which both have atmospheres so maybe they look to be made of resources because u can get protofuel from them? Airless bodies or Duna might not have as much

The 20-60km load range would really be a problem because an asteroid belt is not what you see in star wars, there is over 1000km between asteroids
