Well, SQUAD hasn't even previewed them or showed us a closed alpha or beta. We're not going to know until Monday. It will probably be a whole other game. We don't know. But you don't have to be the way you are now about this.

I don't think it will last very long. The game is going to be extremely hard on console and people will have to relearn or just learn the game again. No mod support either would be a slap in the face too.

Finally finished Eeloocano after 3 days of driving IRL, and 20 to 30 days in game. Let's go!

Eeloo. It's so far away. While I'm doing my Elcano challenge there, the sun gets further and further away due to the fact I landed at apoapsis. The terrain is both flat, bumpy, rough, mountainous, and covered with canyons filled with dirt or minerals or maybe even gas. Who knows? It's HUGE SOI means that captures are 2,000 m/s or less. If you arrive at its periapsis, it has more solar power than Laythe, a popular spot. Its far orbit means that travel times are long, but it stays in the same place for long do to the low orbital velocity, meaning you get to enjoy the apoapsis or periapsis for a long time. It's Mun like gravity makes easy landings, so it doesn't require big landers, which means no big transfer stages. Eeloo is great and severally underrated.

I feel like Watney and KRAKEN mode are impossible. The only reason why is the atmospheric pressure and the ISP of the engines.

The end of Eeloocano

This attempt is over. After driving almost 1/3 of the way around Eeloo, a game breaking bug froze our driver and the rover in time forever. Here are the pics.

Bumping this to say that Day 3 will be late due to bugs and a reinstall. I'll do two parts to make it up. I'm also going on a vacation, but I will bring the laptop I play KSP on. I might do a part while I'm there.
