  1. I can't seem to get the medusa to do anything even when I stage it. Am I doing something wrong here or is it broken?
  2. Does anyone have any links to good guides on building large payload/high delta V rockets/spaceplanes? I'm really itching to build big stations and do long-haul flights but my skills pretty much start and end with litte in-and-out missions and comms satellites.
  3. Arctus seems to be partially phased into Carphos, I suspect there's something amiss in it's orbital settings.
  4. There used to be a ton of mods that replaced Kerbol with a black hole and added a ton of extra star systems but I can't find any that work with 1.3. Are there any such mods?
  5. Is there any way to have the MechJeb tab be not here in the VAB. It's incredibly annoying and it gets in the way no matter where I put it. Maybe just disable the dropdown menu altogether and just use the sidebar (or even blizzy's toolbar) during flight?
  6. Can someone recommend a good autopilot/cruise control mod? I mainly just want something that will maintain a consistent altitude during atmospheric flight but other kinds of autopilot would be a cool bonus.
  7. Scratch that, I figured out how to get rid of the parts, just not the "ore" resource itself. Still bugs me, just not as much.

I started a new thread asking this question and now I feel stupid for not asking it here first: I really prefer Karbonite to the stock KSP resource system but my mild OCD tendencies really hate it when redundant/unused systems pile up on each-other. Is there a way to disable the stock resource system and just replace it with Karbonite?

  10. Is there a way to disable stock parts? I like to use Karbonite and the presence of the stock resource gathering parts bothers me.
  11. I'm trying to assemble a ship in orbit and I want to attach my engine assemblies radially to clusters of 3 ports I have placed on the side of the ship. However, I can't get them to dock properly, they always attach at a slight angle. What's the trick here?
  12. I just installed KAS and I am experiencing a very bizarre glitch. The camera is in the wrong place on the spaceport view and I have no control over anything. I've had this glitch before but it has usually resolved itself after quitting and reloading the game. I have uninstalled KAS but the glitch is still there. I could fix it by starting a new save but I rather like this save, is there any fix for this? The spaceport looks like this:
  13. I'm trying to do something similar to what you did with the resizable parts that you gain access to as the tech tree progresses but I can't quite get how you did it by looking through the source code. Would you be able to give me a quick explanation?
  14. Which .cfg do I need to edit? Sorry, total noob here. Edit: Never mind. I figured it out.
  15. I like the IR parts but I wish there was some way to resize them without installing TweakScale (which always feels like cheating to me). I know some mods (such as Procedural Fairings) manage to do this and to add the new sizes to the tech tree. Is there any way to do such a thing with IR/IR model rework? I'd try to figure this out myself but I don't know squat about modding KPS. If someone can explain how Procedural Fairings does it, I might be able to add such functionality myself.
  16. I can't seem to find any external camera mods compatible with Raster Prop Monitor. I'm sure they exist, can someone point me to one?
  17. This doesn't appear to work in 1.0. Are there any plans to make it compatible?
