  1. I'm in KSP 1.2.2 with the latest versions for 1.2.2 of Galileo's Planet Pack, EVE, and Scatterer. Gael's oceans are invisible for me. Has anyone else had this issue and/or know of a solution?
  2. I have tethering, and this started happening to me, however, you just need to disable unused network adapters. I left the tethering adapter enabled, and disabled my built-in LAN adapter and some kind of NDIS internet sharing adapter, and the game immediately sped up, without even restarting the game.
  3. So it would seem my issue was Hyperedit then. Thanks for the help Sharpy. However, it seems to be more than that (transitioning from atmosphere to space), because I will swear up and down that the drag on rockets was wayyyyy beyond the normal. I'm talking losing tens or even a hundred meters on the rocket's periapsis per second while inside the upper (50k+) atmosphere.
  4. Well, the good news is, I'm not having the issues on a fresh unmodded install. The bad news is, now I gotta figure out what mod needs fixed...
  5. I will ditch the mods and test without them. I'm on 64-bit. If what you say is true, then worst case I guess a clean install will fix it. Edit: Are you using default settings? Orbital drift compensation?
  6. I'm opening up my game (1.2) to see if I'm still experiencing this problem. My comment about 0.90 is just that it seemed like it was the golden age of mods. Other than reminiscing about the "good old days", totally unrelated to the current situation. Sorry for the confusion. Last time I played, I was experiencing massive orbital decay at the Mun. Not so much at Kerbin, but my last launch attempt ended up falling back into the atmosphere due to this orbital decay, all the while my apoapsis was out by the Mun. Then, due to the extreme atmospheric drag of stock atmospheres, I got pulled back down pretty fast. Again, all the while my apoapsis was by the Mun. I'll post back here once I do some test runs. Edit: My PE(73km)/AP(95km) is changing on its own around Kerbin. The PE starts moving ahead of the vessel (and getting lower), but it changes about once per second, not continuous. If I recall correctly, perhaps this is the issue of atmosphere extending beyond 70km?
  7. I almost feel like version 0.90 was the "golden age" of modded KSP... I hope that KSP development will stabilize for a while and more great mods will flourish. I spent about 400 hours on 0.90, and not much since then. I recently tried to start playing again, only to run into this bug that is making it utterly impossible to play the way I want to play (have things in orbit).
  8. I'm seriously missing FAR right now. I'm so used to FAR that I can't even get my rockets out of the atmosphere anymore without it. The amount of drag (in stock atmosphere) in the 50km-70km range is just ridiculous.
  9. Well, as the title suggestions, it seems to me that manuever nodes are moving around. Not the nodes themselves, but the manuever marker on the nav ball and the manuever node's projected orbit. I am playing with mods. I didn't notice this happen around Kerbin, but it started being very noticeable when I got to the Mun.
  10. Hello, I don't know if its just me, but in ckan this doesn't show up under Compatible and the check box to install isn't available. I'm updated to the latest beta according to Steam.
  11. Hey there, if you are open to suggestions I wanted to suggest an idea for the anti-grav parts. My idea for the anti-grav parts to apply force that scales based on the inverse square of the altitude from the terrain under the part. The main effect my idea aims for would be to create a dampening cushion effect as the anti-grav vehicle falls to the ground (be it dropped from the sky, or it drives off a cliff).
