I made this craft for a request in my company(link in sig): Instructions: Here's the launcher subassembly: http://kerbalx.com/Mad_Rocket_Scientist/Space-station-launcher And the core(Place a cupola in the VAB and attach this below that): http://kerbalx.com/Mad_Rocket_Scientist/Space-station-core Dock 3 of these to the core(Place a probe in the VAB, add this subassembly then reroot to the top docking port): http://kerbalx.com/Mad_Rocket_Scientist/Crew-modules Then dock three of these on(Same instructions for setting it up in the VAB as the Crew modules): http://kerbalx.com/Mad_Rocket_Scientist/Space-station-supply-module Individually launch each of the modules and dock them. Enjoy!

If the plane is in a wind tunnel it will takeoff easily; however the question is whether the plane has airspeed, which can become confusing because, as that xkcd blog post that was linked awhile ago explains, a treadmill moving backwards at the same speed as the plane moves forward is somewhat ambiguous statement. - - - Updated - - - Here's the link.
