  2. It's here! http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/113356-It-s-here!-The-Omega-good-looking-heavy-lift-vehicle
  3. How did you get your navball to look like that? P.S. Nice VTOL.
  4. It's coming... EDIT: It's here! http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/113356-It-s-here!-The-Omega-good-looking-heavy-lift-vehicle
  5. Here is my Zephyr blackbird sr-71 inspired long-range plane: I thought about what a kerbal would think of the blackbird and this was the result. Compatible with AJE (that's why it has so many intakes) and FAR, it should work with stock (tell me if it doesn't). Instructions: 1 Stage drop tanks when empty. 2 Brakes activate spoiler 3 ? 4 Science! Enjoy! Download
  6. Nelwise & Angan Kerman thank you for this mod, which just saved their lives during testing of a new blackbird inspired long-range AJE FAR (& Better buoyancy) plane. Expect release soon. (Yes, they did survive that.)
  7. When this is your first mun lander: P.S. This was my first mun lander.
  8. I used to only worry about function, but now I make almost all of my craft look good.
  9. I just bought a book on blender: http://www.amazon.com/Blender-Foundations-Essential-Guide-Learning/dp/0240814304 Watch out! Mad blender science coming! (Maybe). P.S. Love this add-on, I've already done a bunch of renders.
  10. When I saw all the great pictures made by forum users with gimp, I decided to try my own hand at improving screenshots:
  11. It should be stock, unless I forgot to remove the fairing base ring(I don't think so). It does however use stock revamp, which works with stock on most parts, tell me if it doesn't work with stock.
  12. Of course not! It doesn't have any nose cones on the exposed nodes! THAT'S what makes a rocket useful. Seriously, it probably makes a pretty good VTOL.
  13. Assuming the center of thrust is aligned with the center of mass, make sure that fuel tanks are draining correctly (occasionally when attaching fuel lines in symmetry one won't connect) and that there are little to no off center wings i.e. there isn't to much drag on one half of the VTOL. Disclaimer: I am terrible at building jet VTOLs and only okay with rocket VTOLs. Good luck and I hope this was helpful!
  14. Here's (maybe?) something: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/113086-Squadcast-Summary-2015-03-13-The-Friday-the-13th-Edition The picture; not the release date or other jokes.
  15. You know how the stock SRBs are too small, of course you can use liquid boosters and make them look like SRBs ...but they throttle. Here's the answer! Be on the lookout for a new mad rocket using this technique. It's here! http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/113356-It-s-here!-The-Omega-good-looking-heavy-lift-vehicle P.S. For More Boosters you can put as many inside the fuel tanks as you want.
