  1. I bet that not only the average KSP player could use this, but KSP modders could use this as well to create some much better visuals. I just tried out the new config, and it looks awesome!
  2. Nice! I like how it is very hard to tip over. +Rep BTW: I absolutely love scatterer. As soon as it becomes more reliable and has less bugs, I will be using it very often. EDIT: An update for scatterer came out; I am now using it regularly.
  3. Thanks for the explanation! I figured it had something to do with "after" just because "post" was in it, although I didn't want to say anything I wasn't sure of in the video. I can't wait for more updates to the mod!
  4. I, too, nominate by maccollo for "Best Video Overall". I have watched this video about 10 times for inspiration while building a rocket . I realize this has already been voted for, so I am also ok with (also by maccollo). I just felt that Flags and Footprints on Venus is by far the most astonishing video.
  5. I assume that this will compatible with 1.0. I doubt they will be adding any visuals (although they will be overhauling aerodynamics).
  6. Great job with this mod! It's important to remember that it is under heavy development and that (most likely) current issues will be fixed. I made a small video showcasing this mod .
  7. Yes, definitely, but I use the remaining delta-V in the bottom stage to get a bit of a boost into the air first because of its high TWR. - - - Updated - - - It is the Kerbal way.
  8. This is a lander I just finished today. It is capable of landing at sea level on Eve and then getting back into orbit with about 1000 m/s delta-V to spare. This is enough to (just barely) leave Eve's SOI. I'm not necessarily sure if it will land in water, however, but it will get to orbit from under 500 meters above the ocean. I have yet to build the main tug for it when it re-orbits. It will quite obviously be an enormous tug. The orbit (note apoapsis and periapsis heights from Kerbal Engineer): So that's all. I just wanted to show it off as it turned out relatively well, although it is pretty much strutted to death. I certainly didn't focus on aesthetics. You can grab it here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/br65r6yj50erm0m/Eve%207_1.craft?dl=0 Note: This craft was built for me for the Eve Rocks challenge on Jebediah's level, so I have no parachutes. I also haven't put ladders down yet. All the rest of the craft will be completed in the next few days. NO part clipping was used. As you can see in the above couple of pictures, I have mods. These mods are ONLY for VISUAL ENHANCEMENTS and INFORMATION. I also don't use MechJeb. 9. Thanks! At LKO it has about 5400 m/s of Delta-V. It may be about ±500 of that number depending on just how good of a pilot you are. It isn't a lot, but it is probably enough to leave Kerbin's SOI and return, although it is certainly not enough to attempt an interplanetary transfer.
  10. This SSTO is my first Ion powered SSTO to be successful. Note that it isn't fully Ion-powered, and that the Ion engines should be used as a boost to get into orbit. It is 100% stock. From what I've heard, the rule is "no picks, no clicks", so here is a picture: Hotkeys/Action Groups: 1-Turns on/off single TurboJet Engine 2-Turns on/off both Ion Engines 3-Toggles RAM Air Intakes 4-Extends solar panels (don't press until at least around 40 Kilometers). 5-Extends Ladder NOTE: It is unnecessary but beneficial to press 3 before the flight to reduce drag. Once the air intake amount reaches about 0.10, press 3 to increase intake air amount. Also, this is one of my first attempts at an SSTO since I have focused mainly on rockets.
