  1. It seems more complicated to me than just use it with mono (which makes it work terribly on mac but still work).
  2. Hi, I just bought a new Macbook able to run KSP. I wanted to transfer all my mods installed on my Windows PC to it, so I exported a .ckan list file but the Ckan on mac can't read it. It just runs indefinitely displaying "Updating selected mods". I don't know if it is a known issue or if I did something wrong.
  3. Hi, I am trying CKAN on my new installation of KSP v1.0.2 on Elementary OS (based on ubuntu 14.04). But when I check a box near a mod I want to install (I tried several like Final Frontier or Chatterer), the computer freeze for several minutes and after Ckan crash. I can read this in terminal : Stack overflow: IP: 0x7f0702413c95, fault addr: 0x7ffe20bb3f88 Stacktrace: at <unknown> <0xfffffffff> Do you know what is happening ?
  4. That's the problem, I don't have any log, I think the game crash before create it.   5. Yes, I have an AMD card and I had to pass through the same process to install the drivers.
  6. I spoke too quickly, it doesn't work anymore on eOS, when I launch the game there is a black screen and I come back to the log-in screen (?!?). I tried on my Xubuntu installation, the game launch but stay stuck to the loading with "silly sentences" alterning screen and nothing never happen, even after 30min. No log file appear.   7. No problem on Elementary OS (based on Ubuntu) with the 1.0. Did you use the script of the 1st page?

Galaxy Trucker is an awesome game, one of my favorite (and Vlaada Chvatil is my favorite boardgame designer), but I recommend to try it before buying it because it is really particular and note every body will enjoy the strange puzzle phase and the more "passive" phase of traveling (but I strongly recommend to play to it (only at 4 players by the way)). I have note cited it because it less relevant to KSP than High Frontier, there is not really exploration, orbit or whatever (and there are hips of game about Space Exploration: https://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgamecategory/1113/space-exploration).
  9. That sounds really interesting. For those who like big boardgames, let me notice this one : High Frontier which is a bit hardcore but really good and complete.
  10. Hop, I came back from my travel, so I can make some test to try to understand why the azerty keyboards don't work properly. I played a little defining my keyboard as a qwerty before launching the game, but it is quite uncomfortable as I like to play windowed doing other stuffs aside. Is it possible (may be adding command line to the already existing one) to configure the keyboard as a qwerty automatically and only for this game, the other windows open still continue to recognize the keyboard as an azerty ?
  11. Salut ! I have reported the same issue one or two pages ago (azerty keyboard too), I haven't any proper solution yet.
  12. As Action key, I mean the thing described as "action key 1...9" in the settings. When you, for example, want to fold/unfold a solar panel by pressing "1" (the key above the first letter, on a qwerty keybord by default it is the key with "1 !" printed on it and on an azerty keyboard it should be the key with "& 1" but it doesn't work). No worry, I am in travel and wouldn't not be able to access to my linux machine for a while. I wish you to recover well.
  13. Hi, I am just beginning with KSP on Linux (Ubuntu 14.04). I have seen the other thread (of 111 pages), why is it now closed ? I am experiencing some bug (as far) : - the numpad key doesn't work to fill MechJeb or other fields (it was already noticed in the other thread but I don't know if there is a solution) - the action key doesn't work. I have a french keyboard, and even in the settings the key are not recognized, it puts "none" instead. Is this bug has already been noticed ? Cheers !

  15. The mod contains a Real Solar System folder which seems to be incompatible with the 0.24. Can I delete it if I don't want to use RSS or is it important for some graphic aspect ? Thanks !
  16. I am also having crashes with this addon on the 64-bit version, I haven't found any particular hint in the log. The game firstly crash when loading or building a new vessel (on the launch site or in the VAB) and after the game systematically crash when trying to load a save.
  17. Thank you for all your answers. That could be a dirty method to do it, but if it can work, why not ? But I search a little where it can be but haven't found any image file corresponding, in \GameData\Squad\Props there are some .mu which may correspond but I have not idea of what is it. May be it is hardcoded in the game and cannot be access like that. I am sure a plugin can do the work very easily, but I never code a plugin, I absolutely don't know how it works. Of course they cheat if you just ask them to not use it. I try to train them to have an "engineer" point of view, and to be able to predict what they are doing, not just launch and see the result. The blue line of the actual trajectory is fine, it is important that they see where they go, have their apoapsis and periapsis altitudes. I've already try the Conic_patch parameter, but it impact the number of trajectories plot after a change of SOI, if you don't change of SOI, there is no problems. So my two possibilities are : - delete the map button, and put a mod displaying the flight parameters, it is a bit sad to not have a map, but it may work (and the rendez-vous will become really difficult, even if it is still possible to calculate it manually) - try to make a plugin (may be starting with a node editing plugin, I have to see how it is coded)
  18. Hi, in an education purpose I would like to disable the node planer and the trajectory prediction (I want my students to calculate by them-self when and who to burn, and what quantity of delta-V they need). Is it possible ? And how ? Thank you.

Now it is working, I have some ergonomic suggestions : - on the install window, we can click "install this gamedata" which do the wanted thing and there is the "Ok" button which do nothing and is a bit misleading. - it could be good if the program check the page (and ask for the confirmation for the file) just after adding it, not before downloading it (so I can put everything in download queue and go aways while it is working).
  20. I have uninstalled all the Java software on my computer, reboot, reinstall the last version, reboot again but it doesn't change anything. But I have done your trick and extract the lib folder at the emplacement of ModManager executable and now it works perfectly. I will be happy to help you debugging this thing if you want to send me some tests to execute.

  23. Hi, I wanted to test this tool because it seems really useful but it doesn't work on my computer (Windows 7 / Java 8r5). I have selected my KSP folder at the installation. After when I try to add a mod, I fill both cases, click ok and nothing happen ; I come back to the main windows and their is no addon listed. I have tried with : - AIES with forum link - Scansat with forum link - RLA Stockalike with spaceport link I tried with ever the "install now" case check or not but it doesn't change anything. I also tried the button "Download Module Manager" and it doesn't work. I verified in the "ManagerConfig.object" file, my path to the KSP main folder is good.
  24. Hi, I have just installed this plugin, but when I click on "Select mission package" the new windows is empty, even though the file "Plugins\PluginData\MissionController\Stock.mpkg" is present. Do you have any idea where this bug come from ? Thank you.
