  1. Hi - Been through this whole thread and also the FAQ on github, and the installation instructions and I cannot find the answer. I don't have any logfiles available as I am in work, but I installed this Mod at the weekend and I am in career mode - all of the available containers are showing in the VAB, and the Kerbals are now showing as having resources (Oxygen, Food, Water, CO2, Waste etc) - but they are not consuming anything. The message when you first enter the KSC does not appear either - so I assume I have not installed something correctly - or am missing another MOD. I believe (although I cannot confirm at the moment) that I have a Module Manager installed. I have the Stock Tool Bar. I have 4 Kerbals sat in Labs on minmus doing Science and I have timewarped for days - and nothing has been consumed. Can you advise what I need to do, or what I have missed please
  2. yeah - thanks - I will see what I can see tonight - I am not a Dev by any means - so could be fun - I will try the suggestion by ColKlonk as well - but I think the power going from the panels to the batteries is not the problem - just that the instruments are constantly running and as soon as power gets to 0.1 some instrument just takes it again. I have made a suggestion in the relevant thread to fix this.
  3. Surely the default needs to be that all instruments shutdown when batteries hit critical level (like SAS does). My probe orbiting minmus is now effectively dark as I have no power to shutdown the instruments that have sucked the life from the batteries. The solar panels are charging them, but as soon as any power returns the instruments just drain them again. Simple fix would be to power down everything as soon as batteries hit critical level - whatever that is - 5%-10% of max value and to get a warning as well "batteries on <x-vessel> critical level"
  4. Yeah - totally agree Steve - that it makes no sense whatsoever that the default position is not to shut everything down as soon as batteries hit "critical level" and get a warning as well! - - - Updated - - - Thanks - I will have a look at seeing if I can edit the items from deployed = true to false then
  5. Thanks ColKlonk - No I don't have that mod installed - the craft was perfectly in control around minmus as I was just changing my plane to pick up science from the Biomes when I had battery power - but as soon as power hit 0 - I lost all control of it - I have time accelerated 1000 for a few complete orbits of Minmus to see if I can get enough charge to deactivate instruments but to no avail - when I click on the main "stock" scanner I have double click/left click/right click - nothing happens at all - I get no information whatsoever.
  6. Hi - This may have been asked so apologies if it is a known issue - but as I have a modded version of the program - running amongst other things - Dmagic Orbital Science. So I have a Minmus Orbiter that has 4 x Stock Oxstat 2x3 Solar Panels and 2 x Z400 Batteries. My problem is that I have Solar charge going to the panels but the batteries are not charging - it increases slightly and then back to 0 again. The problem is that all of my science instruments (Scanner/Telescope/ etc/etc - you name it) are all running and obviously taking the charge. Is there a way that I can turn off the instruments to allow the batteries to recharge. Whenever I click on anything it kind of just flash/glitches and I can't do anything with my probe. Apart from sending an Engineer on an EVA using KAS mods to bolt on some new Solar panels - is there anything else I can do or is it now effectively a dead probe? It would be handy if all instruments just powered down when they were out of charge (like SAS)?

    Wow

Thanks for the reply starhawk but this is not "modded" - this is just default textures in game. I'd post a screenshot if I could work out how to upload it from my screenshots folder.

    Wow

Firstly I want to say what an amazing and fantastic experience this game is. I have been playing solidly for 4 days since downloading it last week. Love it and go to bed dreaming of orbits and planets and tweaking my spaceships. I have also found some mods. Love the Chatter. My only issue I am having is that the graphics on the space center (the main interface screen) compared to the rest of the graphics in the game are awful. They are blocky and dull. Once I enter the various buildings they are fine. When I am in Orbit the spaceships and planets are awesome. I am running everything on "max" settings I think - so don't think I am missing anything, but when I have seen other peoples screenshots they look like proper buildings with intricacies you would expect to see on buildings. Am I missing something, do I need a mod (although I have tried to find anything for "space center" without luck. Can anyone help me please? Thanks
