Hey man, Try either starwhip or Esinohio. They both do a great job and both accept requests. You just need to send them the craft file and a brief description of how you want the pic to look. Hope that helps. YargJay9991

9/4/15 Spacecraft Fridays -- The Ghost Edition!
YargJay9991 replied to ghostbuzzer7's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
True, I like the informal thing about it too. Hopefully I can do one sometime! My idea was to help showcase craft that aren't on the Spacecraft Exchange but are in the rocket builders. But having all of these Spacecraft Friday threads is really cool! Thanks YargJay9991 PS Three New replica aircraft on my company thread. Link in sig so check it out! (#badadvertising) sorry... -
9/4/15 Spacecraft Fridays -- The Ghost Edition!

Ok... It's time for me to start uploading my things to the Spacecraft Exchange. Here's a suggestion for this really cool idea: Maybe as well as the 5 or 6 highlighted craft of the week whoever is doing this could include one of the rocket builders as well. This could help make smaller companies that have some really cool craft but aren't highly recognized, a little more popular. I realize that it would take a bit of sifting around in the rocket builders forum to find a thread worth showcasing but the writers of these already have to sift around so a little extra work wouldn't be out of reach. Thanks for listening to this idea. I love this thread and it needs to grow as big as it can! YargJay9991 - - - Updated - - - Ok... Okay, I'm back with a beauty! The classic Douglas DC-3 Click HERE to download Hope you guys like it! I'll be putting it on both the Spacecraft Exchange and my company thread soon YargJay9991 -
Thanks castille7, I was really happy with how they turned out. I think I'm going to do a remake with the new engines coming in 1.1. They are pretty well the right sort of style, so hopefully they produce enough thrust. I planning on making the next one twice as big, with hopefully a similar amount of parts. We'll see how it goes. I also have a Concorde over at my company's page (link in sig). I like the thread too Zodiak, it's gonna grow pretty quick I reckon. Goodness me! I just started five lines in a row with "I"... Believe me I'm really not that self-centered! Happy flying everyone! YargJay9991

What is next platform, that KSP will be ported to?
YargJay9991 replied to PatPL's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I know, I really am just kidding though. But hey we live in a world of constant progress and change. And, I don't quite understand some of what you said, mostly because I know only a little about the fine details of computers and how they actually work. Still, the less lag the better IMO. Where do you download your crafts?
YargJay9991 replied to clivman's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Hehe, I guess it was a bit overkill. I just didn't want anyone to make that mistake. Sorry everyone Yeah, I mostly download things to figure out how they work, then try to incorporate a similar design into my own aircraft. Yes I like building aircraft. YargJay9991 -

KerbalX is what I use to upload craft. I find dropbox and curse annoying. TIP FOR EVERYONE! DON'T UPLOAD CRAFT TO KERBALSTUFF. APPARENTLY NO-ONE LIKES THAT... -
How about a 450+ kerbal capacity K380? Check out J-Space Ind (Link in sig) for more. YargJay9991

YargJay9991 replied to PatPL's topic in KSP1 Discussion
True, but I thought I read somewhere that the new unity engine allows multi threading. I know my suggestion is a bit of a stretch, but someday I think 1,000,000 parts with no lag would be achievable. I also have concerns about this porting to console thing that squad has suddenly become addicted to. I wanna know how on earth it's going to work. The PC/Mac version will always be the best in my opinion. YargJay9991 -

How about a Super Computer!!!! Just think of the graphics you could run on it! Movie like rendering real-time in KSP... Part counts would be able to be massive. Imagine 1,000,000 parts!!!!! AND IT RUNS SMOOTH!!! Okay, I know what your saying. SUPER-COMPUTERS ARE WAY TO MUCH $$$$$$$$$ But just think... as tech improves our everyday computers will improve with everything on them. Movie like rendering in KSP is not far away................. YargJay9991 -

Welcome to the forums All I can say is Google and YouTube! There are plenty of tutorials out there, so really watch and learn. Starting with career is a good idea. A little tip from my experience... learn the controls. Find out what every single button does and how to use it. Importantly, learn how to use the four build gizmos in the SPH and VAB in the top left hand corner next to the parts tab. These will help a lot! Learning to build in KSP is essential, start out by learning the basics, then as you become more familiar with the controls, EXPERIMENT! This is so important, it allows you to expand your knowledge of what works and what doesn't. And often things don't work, get used to that. Just try and fix them! Hope this helps, and good luck! Your gonna love KSP, YargJay9991

Hey man, In order for you to show everyone pics, you need to upload them to some sort of host site like imgur. Then you right click on the image and select Copy Image URL. That address is what you put into the IMG BB code. Hope that helps. There are other ways of doing it of course, just google it. Welcome to the forums btw! YargJay9991
