  1. Now we need RO-config for it.
  2. pingopete excellent work I would also say that your Saturn's rings look way better than stock one.
  3. Hey is it true that we can expect 70 meters/pixel photos in next two month? I've heard about it somewhere in polish version of reddit.
  4. tater we get only 2 pictures so far (+ Hydra)
  5. eh.. too much questions, we want new pictures
  6. I'm watching 720p, is there any better stream?
  7. 224 watts during launch, now probably less than 200.
  8. Here is simulation of what we can expect in next hours/days: However I don't know how accurate is this.
  9. You can still download them: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/125397-Historical-Rockets-Probes-and-Stations https://github.com/raidernick
  10. My New Horizons cinematic in KSP Real Solar System & Realism Overhaul. It includes newest Pluto image coloured by me Pictures, details:
  11. Recreation of New Horizons mission in Real Solar System. New Horizons was the first spacecraft targeted on Pluto, the last unvisited body of the nine original planets known at the beginning of the space age. Pictures, details: *** I'm planning to make regular youtube video series with recreations of real missions, alternative history and some fictional ideas in RSS & RO. My next plans: Voyager 2 (september) Manned Venus Flyby (october) *** Credits, music at the end of video.
  12. My recreation of Venera 9, unmanned soviet mission to planet Venus: Hope, you guys will like it
  13. My attempt to recreate Venera 9, soviet unmanned mission to planet Venus. Venera 9 (4V-1 No. 660) consisted of an orbiter and a lander. It was launched on June 8, 1975 02:38:00 UTC and had a mass of 4,936 kg (10,884 lb).The orbiter was the first spacecraft to orbit Venus, while the lander was the first to return images from the surface of another planet. Pictures, details: I'm planning to make regular youtube video series with recreations of real missions, alternative history and some fictional ideas in RSS & RO. New Horizons recreation will be released tomorrow (July, 14th). My next plans: Voyager 2 (september) Manned Venus Flyby (october)
  14. He said that EVE .Dlls provided here So you need only RSS.
  15. You can use MechJeb to make game more challenging. Example? Gravity assists.
  16. Maybe you will be interested in my tutorial: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/118470-1-0-2-Any-hope-left-for-SSTOs?p=1931674#post1931674 I can make it using 1220 m/s. 1051m/s must be very special transfer window + Mun gravity assist.
  17. Mechjeb is very helpful when you're doing gravity assists. Stock game and manuever node doesnt provide you such level of accuracy. I can't imagine than someone can make Galileo style trajectory using only stock maneuver node. It would be pure masochism. Also MechJeb is must have for RSS+RO. Especially when you're doing (like me) replicas of real life rockets so you need (almost) the same dimensions, burn times for every stage, same launch mass, payload to specific orbit, escape trajectories etc. So as you can see MJ is definitely usable tool for pro players. Regarding autopilot: I'm using it to make cinematics. It's really hard to controling rocket without GUI and making scenes simultaneously, especially with FAR installed. Landing? Yeah that's one thing I'm always doing without MJ. I don't see any comparision between M. Schumacher in F1 car during Nurburgring GP and little green guy in a spaceship waiting 60 days for Duna encounter.
  18. I was having similar issues with RO for 1.0.2 and it turned out that I've installed RealFuels for 1.0.4 which isn't compatible with previous versions of KSP. So maybe just check out if all dependencies/recommendations are up to date.
  19. I will probably make something like this in my RSS/RO series but not before recreation of the Constellation Mars mission. btw. that one loooks like worse-off version of Constellation: less payload to LEO, less to Mars surface, fewer crew to land on Mars...
